ElastoMania subreddit launches

Surprised this hadn't happened already!

As an administrator I will strive to succeed with this in 2 main goals:

1) Providing a central place for all Elma news, recs, happenings in the scene and so on, ensuring that nobody who frequents the subreddit would ever miss an important event in the scene even if they don't read every Mopolauta topic, idle in #across or play much EOL.

2) Providing additional visibility for the game, plugging a link to it wherever relevant, for example in relevant comments to /r/gaming submissions.

Thought of it before, but didn't see the point. We already have enough sources of elma info, and people rarely use more than EOL, lauta and/or IRC anyway.

Imagine someone has been away from Elma for a long time. Instead of having to scroll through miles of lauta posts or having to ask people personally, they can find highlights of all recent and not-so recent significant happenings in one place.

Since I'm always on reddit anyway, I say this is a good thing.

Maybe put a guide on how to play in the side-bar as the post will move towards the bottom when more content is added.

Reddit is just a forum platform where anyone can make "subreddits" for discussion and links about any subject. Subreddits tend to be good quality when they're about something specific and not too popular, but then you get shit like r/funny and r/pics that are spammed with cancer all the time. If it seems nice, just ignore r/all and find subreddits that are interesting.

Good idea Xarthok, I guess the best shot at getting this to launch nicely is getting smallish publicity for it (maybe up to 100ish subscribers), posting content regularly and then trying to get it on http://www.reddit.com/r/subredditoftheday
