What to do to get more fps?

try setting lower reso, it can increase your fps a lot if youre using high atm

Basicly any semi-new computer can easely achieve that permanent 999 fps limit or whatever at max fps settings in elma.

Pascal, your screen fails to do it, that's why. Need some old screen to use that.

You can also make Elma screen smaller and bigger with the two buttons next to backspace.

It could be enough, but the more fps here, the better.

Some tips to increase fps:
- First off: Disable timer, it gobbles up a lot of fps (up to 300 in my case).
- Then what helps a lot is decreasing the screen size (as Orcc said, by default it's the button next to backspace).
- Disable anti-virus protection.
- Also you could try to delete some useless startup processes.
- Clean up the registry, defragment your hard drive, free up some space, uninstall unused programs, ...
- Or just format your hard drive and install a clean OS without anything else but drivers to see if there might be an issue.

And here comes the best solution: Buy a new computer.

edit: i also never has been able to under 460 fps... 500 to 560 always has been what was needed for me.

my fps varies from 250 - 1500. Timer gives me 400+, quitting Steam, unused programs and sach other 200.

With some packet sniffer you can see that what is actually being downloaded is gay porn.
