Who could make graphics for EOL2?

As EOL2 will support 32-bit graphics, it would be nice if someone could start converting some existing LGR(s) to 32-bit. For the default LGR, it could go simply like this:
  • Download LGR kit.
  • Convert the TGA files to PNG. The PCX files have lower quality so you can delete them.
  • Edit the PNG files.
  • Put the PNG files in a ZIP file and upload it (because the new LGR format has not yet been designed).
OR

You could also create the images using SVG. Just make sure they'll have the same shape as the original ones (especially the body parts).

Additionally, it would be good to have images for the following:
  • Digits 0-9 and colon ":" (for displaying timer). The digits should have an outline of different color from the inner color so that the timer would be visible on any background.
  • Arrow for showing the direction of gravity in gravity apples. It's enough to make an up arrow for example, as it can be rotated in other directions in code. You can animate the arrow if you want, in the same way as objects are animated.
So is anyone interested in making something like this, at least partially?

http://kopasite.net/up/0/lgrkit.rar has the .pcx and .tga files, so no need for extraction.

how is it about dimensions of the pictures? will it be the same, or will it be higher definition?

Leeland maybe could do something fancy..?

Nice, didn't remember the LGR kit.

Yes you can make higher-resolution images than the original. I think there will be a mechanism for telling the "actual size" of an image in level, so it won't look huge/tiny if it has big/small pixel dimensions.

Not so far, as far as I know. jonsykkel's 7z has some PNGs, but those look exactly like the PCX/TGA versions (number of unique colors in each picture is less than 100).
