The Counter-Strike Topic

This is a topic for everything concerning Counter-Strike.

List of those who play Counter-Strike 1.6

List of those who play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Hosp
Labs
Thundr-

Steam Usernames

Hosp = LudvigT6C
Labs = Zenth0r
Thundr- = Kejebra

--------------------------------------------------------------

Updated a little bit, people can post their steam usernames if they want so we can play together.
The 1.6 list is probably inaccurate now, as about 5 years ago I made this topic.
Removed the Counter-Strike: Source section as I was the only one in it and I don't play it anymore. Will bring it back upon interest.
Well yeah reason I'm reviving this topic is to find more people to play with and would be max for those to be elmans.
For people interested in nostalgia/thestupidshitthatwasinthistopicbefore
If you're completely new to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, I recommend TheWarOwl's YouTube Channel which contains very basic tutorials about the game in general, but also about the economy in competetive play etc.

No, it was always 12k pixels. The image you looked at was just scaled, which it is default in all major browsers.

I havent played CS for 9-10 years but it used to be a lot of fun on lans back then . I prefer tactical ops which is a mod to UT and UT is better than Half life, roughly, but still is. Well, both games as well as their mods are amazing/legendary games, although I guess the new CS can no longer be called a mod. I havent played tactical ops for 5 years either. In these type of games I just get bored with the retarded communities. As for online FPS I casually play L4D2 versus mode for 30-60 mins on random evenings. Hi.

I have cs:s, but I've never played it. Once I wanted to join a server, but it wanted me to download something, so I've been waiting, after 1-2 minutes I aborted it.

Btw, if you want a nice and fuckin random half-life mod, try Ricochet (you might just have it already?). It's a very small game these days, kinda like elma; if you browze for servers only about 10 people will be playing online. But it's still fuckin epic.

was norm, but i had 60-70ms ping on this server... which is LIMIT for enjoying gameplay imo - any over this value is laggin like hell
if 40-50 possible on any server for mans from different countries would be great (i have 10-20 ping at polish servers)

Hosp I used to play all the time many many years ago, i remember de_aztec and awp map and de_dust and stuff like that, dont even remember what version those were popular in. I'd like to get back into it but honestly i dont even know where to start. Just pirate some version from a site or something? what version is it happening in these days?

all those maps are on all CS game just slightly changed, especially the cs.go ones for de_dust2 etc are very different
I dislike it very much that they put lots of small shit everywhere on the map and such on the maps for css and cs.go
CS1.6 is pretty much dead, don't know about CSS since thats the one I've played the least, only against bots and a bit public servers.
CSGO is very big game, its bigger than 1.6 ever was (in price money for competetive play at least, popularity wise i dunno), probably much because of betting on skins etc.
Even though cs.go is fun and all its still very flawed imo, Volvo are not very supportive about listening to problems.
Too bad you're in US, I'm pretty sure it's impsy for us to play together unless we play with like 200ping idk. But if pos I'd love to play.

Saw Labs reply, will try to update it soon.
