Players so far: adi, Lukazz

I'd be ready to play already next week. I don't know if any others will play. Anyway I guess we should start this soon regardless of the amount of players. After all this is pretty much competition against yourself. About starting time, maybe 11:00-13:00 EET?

To be honest I'd like to practise quite much certain tricks and levels but I don't have much motivation for that now and it might be also an excuse not to play now. It might be also cool to have some guesses about total times.

I'm not 100% sure yet which days will work for me, I can give a definite answer on tuesday evening. If we want to do it this week already, I think wednesday would work best for me, but if there is anyone else who would like to participate, but doesn't have time before mid/end september, I could wait till then too. For me workdays will usually work better than weekends, but I understand that it's the opposite for almost everyone. Mielz said he would maybe join if we do this in 2-3 weeks, dunno if this would work for you, adi, or anyone else who might participate.

About guessing TT: I haven't played internals in a very long time, last time I touched internals was a year ago, when I finally got a TT below 37 mins. Some important levels for getting a good TT like Apple Harvest, Lab Pro, Zig Zag, Animal Farm I haven't played in 5 years. I think i can reproduce the styles of most of the shorter levels quite easily, but I don't know if I can drive sub 2:20 in Lab Pro, or if I could make a sub 1:30 time on Apple Harvest (probably not), or sub 1:02 on Zig Zag (probably yes). I made some quick guesses about times I could possibly drive and calculated the total time, and I thin I would be quite satisfied with a TT under 38:30 (also it's quite frustrating when you think about kazan's 38tt in 1 hour TT battle...). With some weeks of style-training I would probably be able to get a 37 TT, but I won't do that anyway.

I guess we should wait for Mielz then :o.

Actually I already got a bit excited and started practising some tricks. Serpent's tale is scary but should work somehow and same with Bowling. AH wr start is annoying hard but I hope to get at least 1:25. Ramp frenzy is maybe biggest question mark...might be too time consuming.

Then there are many quite important tricks that can save much time. Curvaceuos I've done only once. New wave hang part might be too hard for me. In Upside Down my pr is only 1:04. Probably will skip hang trick and go for pro end. Steppes brutal I haven't hoyled since 2008-2009. Labyrinth slidebounce can't make. In Hi flyer might get only 35:0x. Gravity ride 23 sec style too hard. Not sure if could get Hill Legend 14:xx in reasonable time. Also animal farm start I need to practise.

I might have some useful styles/moves. For example Labyrinth pro no bounce style, Quick round no bounce apple, framework 38:2x-3x.

I think that unless this happens post October, I won't be able to take part - I also think that I have about a 90% chance of beating my actual TT.

I really think it would be better for me if we would wait another week or two for this. I just tried some Lab Pro... goddamn I lost all my internal skills.
But I got a little excited now too, and since I haven't played most internals for a very long time, I think i could get some prs (given that I don't lose motivation) in the training process or after the 24h TT.
adi wrote:Serpent's tale is scary but should work somehow
I've never done the bounce, so I'm going for the apple-hang style, ez 58 within 15-30 minutes hopefully.
and same with Bowling.
With some training shouldn't be too hard to get 57-58 there at least.
AH wr start is annoying hard but I hope to get at least 1:25.
Apple Harvest is my biggest question mark. When I hoyled the level and got my current PR (1:21, sucky end), I was able to pull off the WR-start quite frequently, but when I tried it a few months back I couldn't even do it once in 2 hours. And I'm not aware of any in-between-style, like some 1.29 style. So I think my only possibility here is to hoyl the normal one-round-style, to get 1.32-1.35...
Ramp frenzy is maybe biggest question mark...might be too time consuming.
No way I'm even going to try the brutal... ;D

Gravity ride 23 sec style too hard. Not sure if could get Hill Legend 14:xx in reasonable time. Also animal farm start I need to practise.
Curvaceous easy with some training, Hill Legend too (did 14.81 in a 3h TT once). Labyrinth sucks, I can't do the bounce either and it's not worth the hoyling imo, since it only cuts 2-3 secs probably. Steppes brutal same, way too hard to cut maybe 1-2 seconds. Just got for 12.low with old wr-style. Animal start is tricky too, ye...

What's your normal TT at the moment adi? According to elmastats is 37:43, is that correct?

My current tt: 37:39:82
http://kopasite.net/up/cf6v61p79hh3srw/ ... 8_2015.txt

There are some very bad times that I should improve already before 24htt. Anyway I could share my best tips.

For labyrinth pro sc there is easy and fast style: http://www.recsource.tv/r/mifcydezkg

1:30-1:32 in AH shouldn't be too hard. Going over the triangle might be wise solution anyway. http://www.recsource.tv/r/brdgacmhot

For Quick round there is nice style, which I use in 1htt battles (probably not needed in 24htt though): http://www.recsource.tv/r/bcalfxykzj

In Framework oldest style is hard and slow. WR style might be playable but I prefer this style: http://www.recsource.tv/r/brwlpuzkxy

Can't see, everything kopa-related is down today. :(

Hah, very interesting, I've never seen that style before. I have seen some non-bounce shortcuts, but this looks interesting. But I think the bounce isn't really a problem in 24h TT, I was talking about the 1:30 mins of driving before the bounce. :P

Thx for the nice rec, I didn't even think about that solution. Btw, doesn't matter much, but there are some easier and a little (maybe 0,5 secs) faster moves for the wall-part (59 sec in your rec): http://www.recsource.tv/r/wihgpjloyn

The way it works in eol btw. is that someone with 24tt rights can start a 24htt for a specific player. But you should be able to have more going on at the same time if you want to make more of an event out of it. We should probably test it out some time before the actual try just so we're sure how it works. Feel free to poke me on IRC for that, or someone else who has the rights.

Confirmed, very possibly i would like to play, most preferably weekday 15-17.09 or 21-24.09 imo. Soon I hev exams and also probably would want to remind and practise some crucial ints before 24htt as I havent played most of them for quite a long time.
Lukazz wrote:Labyrinth sucks, I can't do the bounce either and it's not worth the hoyling imo, since it only cuts 2-3 secs probably.
Yeah it probably isnt unless you are some zweq. Cuts even less imo, also you can do brutal on wall instead, makes the end low speed tho. I have a 54.12 finished with a failed (no) bounce :)

Also, if you find you have trouble with int47 wallturn (which shouldnt happen though, enough success% imo to use wr style) and want 100% style for this, do later delayed volt instead: http://www.recsource.tv/r/loapetcbdr

24htt this summer? Maybe during fem16? Any of the days 1.8 - 3.8 (mon - wed) would be good I suppose.

TT 37:59 now when 14 hours left :D

Final TT: 37:38:87

Hm I must say this was very cool experience. First 14 hours were really enjoyable and didn't feel bored at all. I reached 37 TT much easier than I thought (in about 8 hours). However cutting 20 more seconds was quite tricky. After some 14 hours I reached Toringe's total time, which was my new goal. Then I decided to hoyl for fun hi flyer sc for 1-2 hours and actually got pretty close. However I started to feel max tired so I gave up.

Actually I did ramp brutal on 3rd try, was quite wtf moment. Somehow I managed to do big shortcuts fast (except bowling). But in basic levels I had problems.

I might be interested to play again, maybe before wc7. I hope some top internalists would try this also (for example finman and Mielz).

Anyway what happened to 3 hour TT battles? I would really like to try it sometimes.
