In the making of the elma documentary there will be occasions where I have to record interviews or actions with people who do not speak (in) english. Since I don't speak all the languages, I need help with translating these scenes in order to be able to edit the footage. The elma scene has many generous helping hands but I know people get older and free time can become a rarity. Anyhow I would be really happy if anyone would be willing to help.
I will update this post with what needs to be done.
Currently I need translations for:
- Cabin Lady interview at FEM2018 (5:40min) Finnish --> English (Done by Lousku)
- Skype call with Ded at FEM2018 (3:40min) Czech --> English
In the videos theres an embedded timecode that looks like 1:00:00:00 - counting hours, minutes, seconds and frames. In order to use the translations for the editing process I would need a timestamp like every 5-10 seconds (minutes and seconds is enough though).
Example:
1:25 "I really like elma, its the best game in the world..."
1:30 "...but I still suck after 20 years."
So this can become a bit annoying and because of grammar reasons quite tricky to do. I am not asking for perfection, just a rough translation. Whenevery those parts get used in the film I will have those checked for correctness for sure.
If you are willing to help, just send me a pm or reply below. THANKS! Until there is funding for the film I cannot pay anyone but your credit will be included in the film for sure!
