I think he meant that he broke the 1:01 limit because he got a good run on Downhill.

I think so too, coz i wouldn't classify a 1 hour run on Downhill as a decent run

27.5.2003... 19:45, a big moment in my TT life....
so this is the story :

my first days playing the game, 10-13 april this year, i didn't knew about TT... i thought that completing all the levs is the main target.
so even if i screwed up BIGTIME (like dummy falls into the little hole in O&U, reclimbing 7 times in uphill battle on the big hill and hanging with wrong wheel so i can't drive) i continued to the end... i didn't thought that the time means something, exept warm up (i remember that i so liked to hoyl my 18:20 :P ).

so when i reahced one day to Downhill, i realised that it's a serious level. don't ask me why, but my time somehow was 02:53,xx. (i probably did the "SLOWDOWN" part like cripple grandma or when i had to take an apple in the end i slowed down for 20 secs...).

now, i felt all this time that i CAN improve the first times of my levs. so i began to hoyl for TT. i improved everything, i even finished AH and lab pro. the only lev made me unhappy with myself, was Downhill. i saw some times of other's first runs, and they was at least 40 secs better, if not more....

so i hoyled Downhill for HOURS every day... but i just couldn't finished it without screwing everything ! i tried and tried.... nothing.
today, in first time since my first run, i reached to the last polygon. the time : 01:43,xx.... well, i was happy.... i get closer to the flower, but.. WOOP ! wrong motion, and i have to try again. shooot that was so sucky thing !!! i felt so poor !

but i knew - today, I HAVE TO FINISH. so i drived again, and again.... and than - the big run. it wasn't perfect untill the end, but it was pretty good. i drived carefully but not slow. than - the last polygon. fortunately my time was better than last run, it was 01:33,xx.... i drived carefully-carefully - YYYYESSS !!! 01:36,xx !!! ha ha ha i'm on the top of the world...

so you probably understood that this lev was a big minute-breaker... 01:08:25 is my TT now... he he 8)

A minute loss in Lab Pro!
Can someone send me an easy style to pick up the last apple without going that long route around?

i remember ciph had an easier "kind of bounce" style to get directly up to last apple in. I think it was in new styles topic.
