Here you can post all the wcup related things: times, level comments, possible styles, rumours etc.

Right now I'm wondering when the first level comes out... and what is wrong with my mIRC! 8O

PeXi is at home but going to neighbour's crab party. Hopefully he uploads the level before going there :|. Who will have the best time after one hour playing, let's see.

Wow Marty! you must be ski||ed to get rid of the "limiting" time of 1.08.xx by getting 10+ faster times.

plan before you completely drive the lev. dz was right. I got 1st time of 45.xx.xx

Let's make this clear. I won't tell my times before the results are up. It's much more excitement in that way. So don't even bother to ask at #across or in private talk.

My time...

Post by Jonas »

My 30.78 time was made with a strange bounce so I won´t send that in, because it´s unfair, but i got a normal time but it´s a second slower :(

i agree with devin. i think each event could be 2-3 days long. that would be enough time to prove skill and a will of fight. and one or two day break after that. what do you think 'bout it?

on elma meet abula showed me a moposite contest rec which had a bounce which i saw a "bug bounce", then abula said "it is clearly seen that he tried it, so i accept it". so what really is a bug bounce then ? if u can do a "bug" bounce somewhere if u try long enough, is it still a bug, or only a rare bounce ?

It will be nice have new level all 2-3 days but i think its not possible because not easy to do results from cca 150 people, control every recs make ranks etc. Pexi is often busy and i think that 2-21 is ok. Maybe this 1th round could be 2-5 days because its too hoyla and boring but i dont care  .

Ye right, of course it's always the lev that sucks. The best players can get good result in every level.

1) I had WR in Loop-de-Loop.
2) I don't care what kind of level it is in WCup, same for everyone.
3) I don't say I'd belong to "the best players".

Actually Abula doesn't have anything to do with the levs. It's PeXi who chooses them from levs that other players have sent him. And he also modifies them a little, so that no-one (not even the designer) can have a great time in advance. But of course the levelmaker (and maybe his friends) has some idea of the lev.
