i remember the 14:20 time. it seemed impossible for ne1 to get better. in elma crime a laughed at the [edit] x (, 14:10<x<14:20) [edit] time that was WR, totally impossible. then new WR was some 14:15 and i was like wow. there's no way ne1 could ever improve THAT! then nostra made 14:09 and i was incredibly astonished and thought, never EVER will NO1 BEAT THAT, _NEVER_!! then dmd made 14:07. now i'm quit certain 14 will b broken. just 8 hundreths..

14 secs will always be attempted but never broken. how many times have you tried to get it and not? Unless someone figures out a better way to do it its always going to be the same
Why are there no American WR???

i voted yes
there aren't going to be any totally new styles for warm up, like you said dotyman
there can be small ones, like nost made up the fast way over the first bump
there is only 8 hundreths to go...a fast bounce or push-off form the right wall could get that
i remember when people said it was impossible to beat 14:16 by DD
you have to remember, in elma NOTHING is impossible
and this is only a thing of 8 hundreths

although i voted yes, there must be a point were u can go no further when the lev has been hoyled to the maxamin, there surely can not be a never ending time to beat,

I choosed no (at least not fair) because the more close people get the hard it becomes. I think that it's really impossibe. You can't go beyond perfect.

I voted no. It's simply impossible with my recent knowledge to go under 14. Maybe 0,01-0,02 improvement is possible, but 0,08? How? It would need a veery different tech i think. But hey, ask dmd

Noone thought that the 14.20-ish time could be beaten (with much) either. Now it's 14.08.
It would require a new style to beat 14.00, but who says it's impossible to find a new style? It happened recently and it can happen again.

You know most people said that when it was ~14.20 too? It's probably höyled to the max with the current style, but you should never say that something is impossible, especially not in elma.

I'm sure there's some obvious under 14 style (just like flat track) only problem is how to find it. Maybe someone could put the physical model of elma in a set of differential equations with the polygons as boundary conditions and compute the ultimate Warm Up record.

I was thinking about such a model too, but that would destroy elastomania in my opinion and even if you want to make it it would be a very difficult model and slow model.
