If the Internals were Cup levels...
Imagine what it would be like if the internals were never seen (publicly) before and were cup levels in maybe World Cup or Master Cup, maybe even EET...nah
Neways, tell what times you think ppl would get and also who would get those times...i know it's hard to picture exactly who and what the times would be but just try to forget every thing u know about the internals in terms of history
In my opinion, it would look something like this:
Warm Up: 14,11
Flat Track: 16,68
Twin Peaks: 17,99
Over and Under: 31,54
Uphill Battle: 21,34
these are just guesses but w/e....use ur imagination

Thats a good thought. Theres no telling what the times would be if players only had a few days to get the best time they could get. I do agree that Over and Under would only be 31:xx:xx. I took a looooong time for someone to get 00:29:xx on that level. I doubt if anyone would have discovered the fastest style on Apple Harvest. I think it would be around 2:05:xx or something around that area.

CMc's Elma Site: 100+ levels, PTL, Hoyla, and Pipe pack. And alot of other crap. http://www.freewebs.com/cmcelma/

nah sierra bounce on laby pro would be found it was found right of table one.
Labrinth 57:xx
Animal Farm 1:26:xx
double trouble 1:29:xx
Ramp Frenzy 59:xx
Apple harvest 2:05:xx
Thing im thinking though is people get more creative on wcup lvls someone might think of a style that is faster then the wr's now but i don't think could beat it in a weeks time cause needs more time to holya. if that made any sence

Are you being serious?Lukazz wrote:would be 1:40 on apple harvest
How would you do 1:26 with normal route? The current left-first-route would not be invented that's for sure.kinghias wrote:much better i think, like 1:26...Memphis wrote:double trouble 1:29:xx
If world record was over 16,70 about two and half years, what would make things different in one week?Dynamo wrote: Flat Track: 16,68
That would be exactly same as with apple harvest and other styles which required many years until they were developed. There is not a single logic that I know why these styles would have been make in one week all of a sudden.sierra wrote: quick round style? maybe would be found
People, common sense allowed.

look at e.g. Luther's rec, it's a very clean normal route-run (most obvious style, right first) and 1:26:3x, i'm quite sure this would be possible in wcup too after watching all those nice recs...dz wrote:How would you do 1:26 with normal route? But the thing is, these level would be unseen. You can't have replays for unseen levels.kinghias wrote:look at e.g. Luther's rec, it's a very clean normal route-run (most obvious style, right first) and 1:26:3x, i'm quite sure this would be possible in wcup too after watching all those nice recs...dz wrote:How would you do 1:26 with normal route? i think you misunderstood me, sorry for not explaining clearly enough...
what i meant was this: because of watching the very hoyled wc5-winning-recs of the last 14 events i personally think that such a time (1:26) on that lev would be quite possible for a good player after one week playing time (i didn't mean a time like this is just possible after watching good recs for the same lev...)
furthermore double trouble doesn't have many different styles (two or three main styles?) so imo no rec is even needed to drive good times (as it would be in a lev like apple harvest), but that's not the point at all

I think Quick Round would have been invented, maby this is a noob comment but maby it's clearer nowadays how far and how you can bounce then it was 5 years ago. If you look at Quick Round in the editor it's a quite obvious route imo.
Look at Luthers bounce at Wcup507 and the bounce in QR you can see that Luthers is far more unreal.

Well, let's put it this way, what times would be made on no-brainer levels?
My guesses are...
Warm up: 14.1x
Loop de Loop: 17 high
Spiral: 44 high
Pipe: 33 low
Steep Corner: 43high-44mid (dunno if they'd get the bounce)
Bumpy Journey: 37 mid
Double Trouble: 1:27-28 (not sure...haven't seen Luther's replay)
Framework: 39 high
Freefall: Really have no clue...15.xx or 33.xx (note that this isn't a no-brainer I guess)
Sink: 33 low
Hang Tight: 26.xx
Hooked: 18 low
I added in Freefall bcuz I really think that with the inventions and variety of trix ppl can do these days, it could be thought up of....just think, there wasn't ne kind of organized battle system until a few years ago if I'm not mistaken...u get lots of creativity from battles so....who knows
Also, alovolt is used in alot of 'starting from scratch' styles in levs too, not an extremely old feature either...
what do u think
