What is required for SLALOM trick?

ok slalom trick is a trick where you just accelerate after you have pressed enter. If you didn't die on 3.06-3.12 time you have succesfully made it.

OK I have amd athlon 2400+ geforce4 ti4200 128mb 512mb sdram etc!

I disabled vsyncs from opengl and d3d and aswell the antialiasings but still I can't make it. I can't make it if they are all ON or if only vsyncs are off. I thought I should be able to do it because earlier when I had p2 400mhz and matrox g200 videocard ppl said it was too bad computer to make the trick succesfully. I'm mystified.

Tell it here in this thread if you can make the trick and then tell what pc you have and have you tuned something then.

1. try: 4,27
2: 3,08
3: 3,09
4: 2,79
5: 3,00
6: 3,05

Then about 20 times 3,07-3,10. After that I gave 2,74. Then I decided to get another 4 secs. About 40 times 3,07-3,10 and then 4,17.

That's it, anything special?

vsync: auto
OS: XP
Computer: 433MHz Celeron, 448MB, Riva TNT2 Viper or something.

i did it millions of times, i did it back when i started to play elma when i had the default setting stuff and i just recently tuned gc and can still do it.
on my computer i guess it doesnt make a difference.

this is what I call a strangest thing I know....it randomly choose people who will make it and who not... I have win XP too as OS. I wonder that 2.67 thing abu did...I have never made anything else than 3.07-3.11 :\

As of now i have a p3 450 mhz, 128 ddram and a crappy ATI Fury 32 mb which i have never done anything with.

I didn't count how many times I tried, but I always got between 3.03 and 3.11. One time i made 2.74 because the head crashed with the ground instead of the litlle wall thingy. And up till several times i didn't die at all because the kuski got all around instead of crashing his head...Is that strange or not?? I don't know, you tell me.

funny.. i tried like 15 times some hours ago and didn't die at all,

I die different from try to try... sometimes: 4:1x and sometimes 3:1x (that is with vsync disabled) and x is both high and low
If I use original settings I de mostly 3:08 (or 3:09) and even 4:20

so... why does it matter?

I noticed something.. if I press enter first and then accelerate just a bit later then I can make it sometimes..... but if I keep up arrow already down when I press enter I never make it.....maybe you have did it that way or have you really had the throttle already running before entering the level

Of course we (well, at least me) pressed gas before, we aren't newbies ;]. Just enter, watching, enter, watching, enter etc.

I tested it for 5 mins or so and this is the results I got

what happened differed, with no apparentent system

The majority of the times .. roughly 75 % of the attemts the times were 3.04-3.07 ... these times were the ones that I died on, not times in between.. A few times I survived longer and died around 4 secs.. Once it was 4.09, and the rest of the times it was 4.27 ...
Also a few times I died with my head on the ground, scoring a 2.72, or something like that

tech stuff :
Intel Pentium 3 878 MHz
OS win2000
Graphicscard : NVIDIA RIVA TNT2
vsync : auto

kloq: go to slalom level, press gas before u start level, press return to start, hold gas down until you die at around 3 seconds, or if you dont die u made the trick.

elma often isnt the same on different pcs and sommetimes on 1
-auto levs dont work someimes
-booster works often VERY different on a pc the lev wasnt made on

If you're wondering how to make the start, then watch a replay where it's done and hÃ¶yl the start, that's what i did. Now i do it just about every time.

Ok, I tried it like 50 times, and died between 3.03 and 1.10 EVERY time except 1 time I almost made it and died at 4.15 hitting head on ground instead of left side. Maybe this is why I suck?? lol

I did this many times. I drove 3:07 on average about 8/10 and 3:10 or 3:11 the other 2/10. It would never be 3:08 or 3:09. Those trials I had no other applications open.

My computer is:
p4 1.8ghz
256 megs ram
64meg ATI Radeon
Windows XP
vsync: on/off didn't change anything.

When I opened some applications, Winamp, WinMX, Outlook, IE and others, and then tried again, I had different results. The bike actually could make it about 4/5 of the way around, almost every time. Hmm.

What does this mean anyways?

That Elma is different every time you press Enter, there are many random (I don't mean vsync etc) things to affect to the bike.
