i had a look at my replay for the 03:26 time on the AH05 level, and the funny thing is that the time counter stops at 03:23 every time. checked it atleast 15 times to be sure. what's even more strange is that when i view the replay in slow motion with 1.2 patch it actually shows different times. sometimes it stops on 03:24 and 03:25, but never 03:23 like in normal speed or 03:26 which is my actual PR. odd. i can partly understand the differences when altering the replay speed, guess it's limitations in the counting routine, but that the counter stops at 03:23 every time in noraml speed is weird.

i guess the replay actually is just a record of the bikes coordinates relative to the level and that the game sort of "plays" the game according to those coordinates each time i view the replay.

note: i'm not claiming a 03:23 time here. i still regard my PR as 03:26.

I didn't bother to try and understand your second paragraph there, but what is said as your time in the level is always the correct time, what the replay says is wrong.. milagros has all the facts on this one

Partly true there. It's the elma program that reads out the information of the replay file wrong. When you ctrl-alt-enter on a replay it mentions a time that is +- 0.01 on the time. When you view the replay I guess the ending of the replay is not viewed because of the FPS.

Or it's again the program reading the replay wrong or executing wrong. In any way it's possible to view the exact time of a replay, so there is no error in the replay.

wtf? i dunno man, i played that lev today and could not find a single style that gives out 3,25 as absolute best time...maybe u have same style as i but different ending? or other way around? i dunno...weird

i made 2,59 three times on AH01 and it is obvious that it is luck to get 2,57...every 2,59's time on the replay says 2,57...perhaps the real impsy time is 2,58 on that lev? i'd have to ask Dariuz

Dynamo ive done ur impossible time twice then. my top 10 is 2 time at 2:58 2 at 2:59 and the rest are 2:60. 2:57 seems damn impossible.

Dynamo send me some of ur recs some of ur times seem damn impossible.

What do you mean? Dynamo has nat advertised any new times since last update. You sent 2 recs with 0,06 improvement in total. Nat muhc to update, maybe i will do it later today anyway
