All i know about MONGO is that it is much used in norway ( atleast where I live ) to describe someone with downs syndrome. And also used as a swear. How it get into elma scene i have no idea, but it may be some norvegian kuski.

It was SoC (of course) who started sayig it.
Mongo is a shortened form of 'mongolid', which, as ToTaL said, is a name for people with Down's Syndrome. (SveinR said something about the origin being that the people with Down's synrome look like people from Mongolia.) It's an offensive word, though not exactly a swear. It's used more or less like the English word 'retard'.
