Sound problem...

Sound problem...

I tried to enable the sound, and use compatibility so that I can listen to mp3s and have the sound in the game at the same time. But when the next song starts, my computer freezes. I don't know what's wrong...

Any suggestions on how to solve tihis problem?

omg, I have kinda same problem, with it change to next song I can't press any buttons :/

Why do you want to play mp3's and the ingame sound at the same time?
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

first, i assume you have tried to swich to best quality mode giving no affect.
so, next thing you should do is to update your sound card driver.
just check the homepage of your sound card manufacter and get the latest driver. if you don't know what your sound card is for example, you can check some info under control panel/system/devices. there you can also find your sound card and the option to update it.
secondly, reinstalling windows might help. (fresh copy)
i know you dont want to do that, but if you really want to listen mp3s at the same time... it might help.
can't think of anything else right now... hope some of that will help ya.
