FW, this guy at school had 6 lucid dreams in 5 days, and he's not getting tired of it anyway. While being in REM, there's brain activity, it doesn't really matter if that's while lucid or not.

ok...I guess my real point was, that if you get too used to the Lucid cycle, it might affect your brain to make you have lucid dreams like every night.
I guess im just afraid of coming to a point, after long periods of time (months, e.g.) where my brain automaticly goes to lucid status, and i can't have a nights sleep where i feel like the night has been like 1 second. I don't remember my dreams, and most times i feel like i just closed my eyes when i wake up, and i like it like that, although i would also like trying lucid dreaming, im just afraid of that it might mess me up after a longer period of time

Hah.

Ok, ive downloaded an mp3 lasting 30 minutes, with a male voice saying "I am aware that im dreaming", so im gonna try the lucid dreaming thing tonight. I just don't think it'll work first night if i haven't practised it before, or practised writing down dreams and stuff
