.lev downloading problem

Post by The_BoneLESS »

As all of you may know, i can't download .lev files, ( i can only donwload .zip )

I found out why but, don't know how to fix it....

Here's the problem :

Once ( don't know why ) , when i downloaded a .lev file on the Net, a window saying "open with?" and a list of programs appeared. Not seing .lev program, i click on something like wordpad so, all the .lev files on my computer went to .txt, that's why i think when i click on a .lev link, it makes a big pages with a computer language i don't understand ! Just like to know, how do i fix that ?

- Thanx

Right-click -> "Save as" should help...

To my mind, you can try to change the program assigned to *.lev in Windows Registry or somewhere else (like "Service">"Folder properties">"File Types" in any folder). Or, if you have WinMe or higher right-click on any lev file -> "Properties..." -> "Change..."

hold shift and rightclick any lev-file, then it will show a open with menu. Simple change the program and mark "always open with..." . I think you understand. I have a swedish windows so i translated it myself.

PS If you have WinXP you dont have to hold shift.

This has nothing to do with downloading the files BoneLESS. Just 'save target as'
