Place to stay in Copenhagen

I'm starting on physics in week but I have no place to live

.
So does someone know a place i can stay, maybe only for a night or 2 in copenhagen??

I'd ez have you for 2 nights or even a week if I lived in Copenhagen, but I live in another country. Best thing to do is go to a hostel.

Well cause cheap hotels aren't cheap when the only money you have is SU (the State Education Fund or something) :/, even hostels gets to expensive if I have to live there a month or so. I'm POOR

Hmmehm...I think you can find some cheap places to stay on "Vesterbro", which is one part of copenhagen.

Nah, but they just dont like the idea of me taking a trip to Jylland, only to go to some computermeeting with a lot of people from a computergame they dont even care about. Maybe I'll have permission this time, when the next DEM arrives.

Reviving this nice little topic...

Me and my girlfriend Liz are coming to Copenhagen. We are cheap ass bastards and want to live for free. We are currently looking into couchsurfing.org but as you might imagine (or if you have tried yourself) it is very tiresome to actually find a place to stay. Like only 1 out of 10 people reply (reject)...

So right now I am hoping for the hospitality of members of the "social elma scene". We will arrive in the evening of Wednesday, August 18. Liz is coming by plane from Oslo, I will come from Berlin by bus. We will stay in Copenhagen until the 24th. I am of course not asking anyone to host us for an entire week, but just one night or a few nights would help us a lot.

If you don't know who the fuck I am, this is a short description: My name is David, 25 years old, living in Berlin, making films and other stuff. I played Across/Elma from 1997 until last year. Liz is 25, from Chattanooga, USA, currently looking for a job to be able to stay in Europe (I won't marry her

We are easily satisfied and want to check out the city. You don't have to take care of us, but you may and we will be even happier. Just some space on the floor will be enough, we will bring our own sleeping stuff.

Just write in this topic or send me a pm. I will appreciate any kind of support!

Hay yea, we had a nice time anyway. We got 3 different host through couchsurfing.org. one south of Christiana who bred reptiles in a tiny flat, one boring guy way up northeast (nothing going on there) and a very cool guy living in Norrbro (seems the place to be anyway). We did some sightseeing but also found nice non tourist spots through our different hosts. I really liked the city and it was a lot different from what I remember when I was there at age 10 or so..

I will come back... also cheap bus from Berlin: 44€ two way
