Book or movie?

Post by 8-ball »

Would you rather read a book or watch a (most of the time) shortened version of it on film?

Definitely books are better tho there are some exceptions. For example movie North and South was better than a book but maybe that's because I dun like John Jakes' style.

Is this poll about:

1) What one prefers of reading a book or watching the movie adaptation of it.

or

2) What one prefers of reading a book or watching a movie, in general.
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

Yes, I assume the meaning is 1).

Actually, it is impossible to misunderstand. But the poll itself (when not viewed together with the post) is not so clear.

And why would someone vote in a thread without having read what it's about? one ought to be either very lazy or stupid to do such a thing ;D (and we all know, thanks to the 'person above me' thread, that you are a lazy man) ;o
