Cup Driving Experiences

Post by Memphis »

Hey gang,

Anyone else ever have a ride that they think is perfect 2 days into a new level in a cup and think there should be someway to improve it but after holyaing it more realize they can't beat it because think the run is perfect and realize they will probably win with the time only then to see the winning replay come deadline and that your run didn't look so perfect after all?

A wise man (Ciph) once told me, "you can't ever think this way because as soon as you do you have lost because the person that wins it will holya more than you".

Just me?

I have three finishes and no time to play more so you should still play if you want to beat me, because I have exactly that feeling and I know I'm going to win.

Dame, couldn't possibly know, seeing as how I never play a new level within the first 2 days.

But I do know the feeling from elsewhere. Either you make some awesome nab time on your first finish in a balle, or you make some najs new best time in an int, which you cant beat, despite that max nab part at 1.26!

you playing A Orcc? Can 2 people have the same feeling about the same level? one must be wrong. Since I wrote this I have found a bit better of a style and I can't even beat my old style because it is to perfect of a run.

holyed for 3 hours tonight trying to beat perfection. Had a bit different style that in theory seems faster but best I could do is come .01 of it. Almost frusterating peaking that early on a level cause nothing to look forward too.

Well it tured out pointless for me to drive the level anymore past day 2 of it's release but I found it a fun level to play and wanted to beat my time of 37:25 but never did. My second place time when I drove 37:25 was 37:80 and 3rd place was like 38:10 so it was a good run at the time but here is my new top 10.

1. 00:37:25
2. 00:37:26
3. 00:37:29
4. 00:37:32
5. 00:37:33
6. 00:37:33
7. 00:37:35
8. 00:37:39
9. 00:37:41
10. 00:37:42

Here is my replays of 1st and 2nd place runs. As you'll see my style in the 2nd place run is faster but could never pull off decient ending with it.
1. http://up.k10x.net/kvkmqfpipbxsj/MRII3AMe.rec 37:25
2. http://up.k10x.net/qejsvizudngfk/MRI3wtfs.rec (shit end) 37:26
3. http://up.k10x.net/ysxyncmxpblqd/MRII3clo.rec (shit mid, solid end) 37:29

Ended up holyaing that one more than 90% of internals. Good level, enjoyed it lots.

Thanks nIN,

Mawane, Devin played and drove a very nice time (worth third place). However, due to the time difference in USA he sent it thirty minutes too late. I would've made an exception if I hadn't shared the winning replay, and results already.

Us Canadians usually take a little longer to find our inner skill.
