deadbounce (you want to see this :) )

Post by deadnite » 27 Nov 2002, 20:53

I was playing alp35 , M, the other day and i found quite an interesting style. It's a bounce that you do from a hang with both wheels. I call it deadbounce :D The bounce causes your bike to jump up and back to the direction you came from. So the result is that you get on the rail you were hanging on. Ok, you probably didn't understand so there is a rec of it here:

http://koti.phnet.fi/dsirt/alp35jea.rec
The rec is driven in the alp35 as i said. If you don't have the lev, get it from www.grafopoint.com (great site :D )

The bounce works on downhills, flat and on gentle uphills too if you have enough speed. I haven't seen anyone do this before, so i guess it's something new. I don't think it can be used in any internal, but you never know :D

What do you think?

Yes, it's not hard, although it might seem like an insane trick. The only difficulty is the right timing. And I forgot to mention that you have to do an alovolt before the bounce (you can see it in the rec, though). You can get on the rail with normal volt too but it's not so fast.

Yeah, I noticed the alovolt when I watched the replay in slow motion.
Someone will find a use for it in an internal I think. Though I don't know where.

I have never seen such a bounce before either..
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

The problem is that the text table doesn't break when the whole line is one single word. Add the line breaks yourself, or better yet, shove the whole damn thing up the ******** of a *******.
