Well without that 1985 computer there wouldn't have been a 2004 one. So go figure. :)

Well it depends on what grounds one remembers another

Personally I would remember Michael Schumacher more than the best Formula One driver of the 1930s

sierra, that 1985 computer might be an better achievement though...
so you should think about it for a while ;)

The answer to all this is at why time you entered and who were the top guys then. And also what you've "grown up" with (can this be used when it comes to elma? maybe..).

A 90 year old guy who followed Formula 1 in the 1930s most probably remembers the great guys then more than Schumacher today.

...and Champi0n, etc., were pioneers!
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

I don't know the first elma-release-date (oh, shame on me), but I don't think it's
an over 10 years old game. Maybe elma Gods will come in ten or twenty years, no ?...

When I red that topic, I felt as if elma were dyin', and that we have
to quickly choose some famous kuskees to engrave on a gold panel.
let's live
let's hoyl
let's ... (scuz me, i'm playin')

(sure i'm not making friends in here, but i just wanted to react)

You're right. And not. Internet scenes evolve so much in a short time. Other than real life historical events, events on the internet happen quite in a short time. This game could be dead in 5 years, you know. You can compare it with a rush, like the gold rush back in 19th century.

So maybe the kings of now, are the kings in eternity.

you speak like a poem.

see the tear on my cheek ?

Seriously : I don't play elma on internet.
The moposite is just a HUGE place to exchange on elma.
If it disappear, an other one will come (hope)
tomorrow, i stop.

Well, the scene would be awfully much smaller if moposite didn't exist. I think there wouldn't be real elma legends anymore.

ok. I agree with you. And that don't make you (and balazs' wallet) nervous
to know such thing : "elma exists because moposite exists"

please say me if it was not that i had to understand
tomorrow, i stop.

Yes, that was what I meant. So, because of that, a very logical pick would be Abula and px. They keep the game alive.

I think these are going to be remembered:

Abula ( the only reason elma is still being played )

TorInge, Zweq, dz, pajen, zyntifox, Champi0N and KingKong ( minute limit breakers )

H8, I can assure you Abula is NOT the only reason elma is played. Many ppl play elma without taking part of the scene. And if Abula wasnt hosting moposite there would still be a scene anyway... as long as IRC and WR-table there will be scene... maybe scene will die out. And maybe it would die faster without Abula (moposite). But he is NOT only reason elma is still being played.

(I guess Abula is smart enough to see this does not mean I think he dont make a good job)

hey, he's a great dude. without him and px (and the latter is pretty inactive these days) the scene would not be like this for sure

Yeah, that was what i meant, i think 80+ % of elma players play just because of moposite's WR and TT tables + pro recs and the excellent elma community :)

And who was responsible for setting up the moposite and the community? Abula of course. Don't be under any illusions, we owe all of this to him.
