I think only the former WR should be published.
4th position in WC4 (DAMN YOU KARLIS!!!!) PWNED KARLIS IN WC5!!!!TT:39:2x:xx (you've got some playing to do Stini ;) ) When it's all over the question is not who was right. The question is who's left.

Why should they be published? That only means that it would all be about hoyla, of course you could take a new record with a different style, but then the DieHard-Hoylas would beat it right away, and that would ruin the whole idea about elma, of course replay-sections should be avilable, but why "force" anyone to publish rec´s? I am pesonally not a crazy hoyla, and I don´t believe I have the skills to take those kind of records... so this would just ruin the fun for me... also the rush when you see a kickass ride would dissapear if you´ve seen all wr-styles...

I think I forgot what I was about to say....

It would be bad to publish them cos than all you would have to do is höyling. Everbody would know all good styles, it wouldnt matter to find a new style, cos at the next table you would loose it, because of some kuskis who can play 7-8 hours a day.

Now the only true achivement to invent something new, if you do it, you will have your wr for a long time. But if you publish it, you WILL loose it very soon

you are wrong, dz
my first succesful finish with current WR style was 12.44
best except me is 12.46 made by TomCat
12.37 and 12.34 were hoyled but which WRs weren't

i didn't play elma last weeks much, i'm sitting 8 hours/day in front of the computer at work and that's enough for me... :?

Well i dont think i have time to höyl 7-8 hours, nowdays like 2 or 3 if i have a good day. However, i think it takes quite much hours to get such a good total :D

I didnt play much freefall, but enough. It was like 3-4 hours at all, and i was trying to finish it with a not-that-good style. I got 14:04 with it, than i tried the good style, and made 12:46 very soon.
I thought someone will beat it with lots of hundreds so i didnt continued it. My 3rd time is 15:44

And about old times, i dont know what to do..
They should be published, if the wr-style is different, or the style is well known.

hey TomCat, what's not-so-good style on ff?
i haven't done any worse that 13.1x (same with bad landing)
i would like to see dd's 15.25
that's surely cool
also dz's old tricks, umiz's labyrinth, joni's upsidedown...and so on

The not-so-good style is to do two volts at the beginning. Its easier to jump to the next polygon, but of course it is a lot slower. I just tried it before trying the good style, just to practice the style at the end, cos with it, i could get there every time
Im intrested in dd's rec, i wonder how he did it..

I completly agree with dz about the publishing

And umiz's laby?? Why? What time?

i used that not-so-good style in 12.97 WR
was 13.66/13.82 WR made with same style?
i simply can't imagine, how did AAL do it, 'cause csybe said in the interview, it's the best rec (that means that it wasn't 12.97 style)

i only object if only a few people have the rec and are using it to help there times.
once many people have it i think that it should be available to all

This poll has no sense because only a few people have wr and the other kuskis want to deceide about the recs that are not belong to them.

Anyway i wouldnt send my rec if i knew that would be published. I think im not alone. Trust px and abula and leave the recs alone, hoyl more :D

It could be but there's another important thing -> what about finding new styles?

Publishing reps opens new ways to find another styles...

WHO CARES WHO THE RECORDS BELONGS TO?!?

Its very impressive to have 40 of 54 WRs but WHO CARES?? Not me.

Most important is -->> WHERE'S THE LIMIT OF EACH TRACK <<--

And kusky's who publishing their WR reps are MENS WITH BALLS!

I think the recs should be published, but only after a certain period of time. When people invent a new style(although this doesn't happen terribly often anymore) they often get a WR but then hoyl that time down even further, and so it's only fair that they are given a chance to do that.
But after say a period of 4 weeks(?) of no new improvements the rec should be published to help encourage more world records. 4 weeks is long enough to hold a WR, stop being greedy :P.

Even if new styles haven't been found, the rec might inspire people to try and beat it, on levels that they might not of thought about playing recently.

I voted only former wrs cuz it should be up to the record holders choice to show the rec

thats like saying the answer to some sick magic trick and the magician doesnt even have a say in it...kinda even like copyright laws :o

imo its up to the person who rode it all the way, ex wr or not, since altho his ride was beaten.. it may be a secret style shared only by them and the new wr holder

but if the guy were to leave the scene id leave it up to pexi. far too mysterious to have a cläz rec that will never be seen

I know, let's make it so that only wr holders gets to see other wr recs. That way they would get encouraged to improve them even more!
