anti-cheat patch
i wanted to do anti-cheat patch
i should save also other file than rec
it would be almost impossible to skip/hack/crack
the problem is that all kuski who will want to beat some wr will have to use that patch
so kuskis should write whether it's a good idea or not
i don't want to loose many hours with patching it with no effect
if all kuskis agree i'll try
if not then ok

good idea
I think that it is an excellent idea ... Only problem that I foresee is if people who don´t have internet( and follow the scene regurlarly ) , send in a rec .. If it is done moposite, and other sites, has to make it known to everyone .. They have to write pertty much stuff about it, so everyone will know what it is, why they have tyo use t ect

Just a tiny mark to the table if it is driven with or without the patch. All WRs get in but the times with the mark are more reliable.

hmm it sounds ok, but with all the trouble with the other patches... If someone sends a wr, does it really take that long time to check it for cheat ??? U cant be sure that everyone would use it even though they downloaded it...
Its Ok with me, just suggesting an easier solution... maybe

it sounds like you guys have the cheating stuff pretty much sorted,
its like they say, the more keys you press the more likely you are to make a mistake, not that milagros will make a mistake its just that sometimes games become big enuff as it is,
but yea i would use it, not that im gonna get wr or anything,
please make it small i dont wanna get new hard drive i only have 300mb left on my 60G and i hate having to delete level zips

Why Balazs didn't code this into the game? Why not, in general, programmers of the games don't include this kind of thing to the game?

it sounds like a good idea to prevent cheating. not that it would make the cheating go away, but making it harder to cheat. and the players have to agree just like in sports where they have to agree to doping rules. and that's how nostrada was banned, for not passing the cheating tests.
and ab, i guess programmers didnt realize that computer games would become as serious as sports are, but they will probably become safer in the future.

Kopaka: very few players get WRs 'out of the scene'. Just look at the table and WR history.

I think it is a good idea, but it should only be in WR where it is needed.
