Be swift, o dear jury
For we are all in a hurry

We love you, and need you still
For you were there when we were ill

But listen to us hard
don't hide your cards

Be quick master jury
Don't leave us left, to worry.

hehe all you guys who say poems are gay are just insecure about your masculinity ;) In fact, I think it's a great way of getting through with a message and it's fun to find good words that rhyme.

I understand your point of view, though I don't agree. I seriously think poems are useless, when you can simply write normally, which can translate much better how you're feeling, instead of having to go through restrictions, rhymes and everything, that forces you to say what you want to say in a way that will fit these obligations, though it won't be exactly what you wanted it to be. Sorry for that long messed up sentence I just wrote.

There are no general restrictions in poetry.

raffled. HAIKU!

also, SveinR is right logically, even though literally there are Haiku's, Sonnet's etc. that DO have general restriciotns, however Poems are used to express a view or feeling, using the full potential of language and structure.

Last off topic post I will make in this topic: There are some rather rhymes, or riddles which uses restrictions, but the general term poetry is nothing I associate with restrictions.

I already said a few weeks doesn't matter. Ultimately, the jury has the last call.

I trust the jury to make a wise decision in this. Either way, the rookie award is complex as can be, so the result will always be cumbersome. Like that list of world's best DJ's of this dance magazine.

sorry Morgi, i wasn't going to let you out that easily, i had to find proof (and found teh)

oh and Rookie contest is perhaps more important than some internalist/externalist because it gives new players more reason to hoyl, become good, more competition.

I honestly think though that if the records table was updated on a regular basis it would incourage "noobs" (no offence) to holya more. I remember when I first started out back in the day I used to wait for every 2nd sunday for the records to be updated so that I could see who I passed and where I was ranked in Canada.

which is why i think Internals should be hosted elsewhere than the ridiculously unupdated moposite.

maybe Elma Online could have it, auto updates your times when you get them :P only problem is not waiting for WR table.

Ofcourse, why do you think mila made it in the first place.

And btw. smaxa there already is a million other places for internal times, ppl are just too lazy to upload their stats there.

yeah but none of them quite have the official feeling of moposite, and also mopo goes into more detail (top 10 times for each level for each country, even averages)

I guess we are 90% done now.

I collected best levs and recs into zip files and uploaded it for you so you can already start wondering which one to vote. But keep in mind that only 10 of these will be nominated in 3rd phase which means that your favorite might be out... or there might be some surprise rec nominated if SveinR make a bug bounce or something and he thinks it's the best rec ;)

Anyway, here are the zips:

http://koti.mbnet.fi/zebra/bestlevs2008.zip

A winner of 4 GAA's (mc2 included), winner of mkup206, and a proud member of team TAP.
