Some people in the scene believe it would be time to gather some new replays and make another movie.

Isn't there already EDQ4 on torrents.ru ?Kazeta wrote:EDQ3? isnt the one on utube the first?, or the second,? is there a EDQ2?
haha Dynamo you drunk, you living in some sort of time capsual over there? a few months... it's been 2 years since last one. Plenty of time in my opinion. Fire up a new one.Dynamo wrote:Nah fuck that....We should make new movie every 3 years or so....would be a way better contrast than every few months or w/e
Aren't you going to try and take em back? )Woah nice update, too bad my only wr was beaten, though i thought it would only be a matter of time when it'd be beaten..

Hm it must be really tight indeed, Sweden's TT is a bit off at Moposite due to Bjorn's state not being in the update. His New Wave would cut almost a sec and his Serpents some 0.2x, Slalom 0.1 - 0.2, Steep, then of course my WTH would lower TT 0.17. I think Sweden is still ahead of Finland but I guess not for long.nick-o-matic wrote:Another interesting Finland-related internal thing is the TT-battle between Finland and Sweden. I guess it's pretty tight at the moment but delightfully our TT was improved quite a lot in this table especially thanks to Framework (-0,53s, quite well in this kind of hoyla level I think!) and Bowling (-0,95s). Maybe we made an overtake in this table?
damn those tables from 2004 feel so distant and the players were totally different. especially it feels really weird that toringe is not present in the current table, it was like the end of one era and the beginning of another. some ppl from old days have disappeared from the table and nowadays table is ruled by totally new guys, you can not probably understand it but i had max weird feeling when checking the tables from 2004 and then going back to #299. It felt like all the old battles I had with karlis and toringewere brought back on the top of my memory. hadn't checked those old tables for a long while. btw: it was darmoed ruling the table in the late 2004, unfortunately that cant be seen from stats.nick-o-matic wrote:Nice WR-table again indeed, I hope this internal phase continues at the partytable #300 too. And of course the maxest thing in this table is getting a teammate to the table, grats here in lauta too =)
Finland is rocking pretty strongly in the current table btw - we have now 31 WRs. Last time we had that much in 2004 in table 176. In both tables we seem to have who else than Zweq as main reason for high amount of WRs heh. Anyway the all-time record is 38 WRs and I think it's realistically possible to improve that record in near future: we have currently really wide front of active WR-makers like Zweq, talli, Raven, Jarkko and now adi too.

toringe was a very silent guy, at least on irc. all i can remember him saying on #across was pretty much "hi" when he joined and every one kneeled and licked his feet. even when i was in ic 2-3 weeks there was no much chat with him. on priv it was possible to get some info out of him. could be chatting with him, then total silence for 2 hours and then suddenly he pasted jaws 54.9 which beated my wr by 0,5. like stealing candy from the children. that's my brightest memory from ic.Bismuth wrote:Personally I'm wondering why TorInge has never spoken somewhere as far as I know. He was already out when I became involved in the scene, but I remember looking at the evolution of WR tables back when I was like 12 (2005-2006 I'd say, maybe it started in 2004) with my cousin and saying "TorInge is a god".
To return to my point, I'm asking: was TorInge actively involved in the scene, or was he just driving WRs and make everyone go crazy about his times?
Yes, too amazing. Are you ready to reveal the style now?jaytea wrote:isn't my wr just amazing

I heard he got abducted by the Russian mofia trying to force him to holya 54 wrs under the name Darmoed. Just a rumour though, no one really knows forsure.Rez wrote:@toringe case: did something special happen? like did he quit or something? or did he just vanish from the scene without telling anybody where and why, only to return one glory day?
