Reason: Twenty eight is half of 54, yet there are a total of 28 apples.
If you eat 28 apples really fast, you'd be sitting on the toilet for a while.

i guess after counting the apples i accidently used that value in the riddle.
and when translating riddle to reason i merely copied the same number without thinking.

clue: the hole itself is hidden by an object because it's on the other side of the tower, but the "hole" can be seen in the picture, I mean, we can see where the ball goes but not the hole itself. I was so unclear...
