i play electric guitar, not very well, but it sounds like music ha. proof: myspace.com/purposepurposepurpose and the old one myspace.com/ueesh
i can play bass and acoustic as well.
I listened to the first mp3 and didn't find anything nice in it. Second example was way better, but sloppy. But I do care to say I couldn't do much better, even if I tried.
Your Mozart is quite nice, but the guitar is detuned to hell! =)
Listened to bach.mp3 and got inspired to record this stuff too: http://up.k10x.net/bszxzvngwcbbw/bach_anpe.mp3
Haven't played it for years literally. So it took almost an hour of practicing and remembering before i pressed a Record button. Sounds ok imo, but distorted chords are bleh :S The attempt to insert an unexpected fugue in the end is quite lame and i even messed up one note. Also the guitar is overcompressed a little, so the volume is pumping in places. Whatever. It was fun nonetheless, heaps of tapping is c0elz any time of day. Though it's a pity that it's like the only technique recquired to play teh song. Except that bitchy 0:30-0:37 legato/picking part, it's hell to play it clean
Here's the tab i used. I've fixed fingerings and other stuff to suit my playing, but haven't changed the tempo etc. It's more natural to play it with free tempo i think. Come to think of it, it's the only song i play like this. Usually i like to follow the note lengths and play really tight and record to metronome http://up.k10x.net/vhphuuucbrtso/toccata_and_fugue.gp5
The tab itself isn't very good, but i really haven't seen any great tab for toccata. If anyone has it, throw here, maybe i'll record a multitrack metal madness with drumz and more shred =)

I'm not sure if i 'play' guitar... but i use to practice and learn some songs since 1 or 2 years ago... electric.
Add me to electric list.. and also i play guitar hero.. though i play on Expert i think i am a faillure somehow, so add me there
Thank you FinMan. and Cfilorvy that song is quite naturally a fast song and if anything i didnt play it fast enough, also did it a few years ago and its a pretty shitty version on my part and i get off time a lot can definitely play it better nowadays though, may need to reupload a video of that song, maybe thats why you thought it needed to be played slower.
in case anybody likes the game final fantasy 7 i am kind of a nerd for the musical compositions in the game by Nubuo Uetmatsu, so i have made some classical renditions of the songs in that game on youtube
Oh gimp that rendition of Aerith's theme sounds pretty nice
I play a similar song... but from FF3/6: Celes's theme, and not on guitar, with keyboard
On guitar i can play only parts of many songs from FF games, like Fight On (FF7), Battle Theme (FF3/6, FF5, FF2/4), and the Main Theme! (prelude) but i need some practice xD
its a really shitty nylon string guitar to be honest but it was the only one i had at the time. it buzzes almost every time frets are pressed on the low E string so yea it sounded pretty bad in a lot of parts. probably should of played it at a slower speed to make it sound better. great song for warming up the fingers though. teajay you should post some videos or something
