This is my attempt at trying to touch the bottom of long haul and then make it all the way back to the start (a challenge that john posted years ago). Got to this point and was like shit this is a fucking imspy spot but its a great challenge gonna keep trying it some other peeps should too.

Still no cigar but this attempt gives you way more speed for the bounce which might ultimately make all the difference if executed correctly afterward. I think direct jump all the way over the "hang" is needed to get enough speed for two very massive successive brutals to get to the next upper polygon, and then one last final big brutal to get back to the start.

you don't need any brutals to get to the start from the left, you just need to get up one more polygon and you'll have it:)

Just did 3:53.79. Was fun merge until 2min-ish. stylewise you did quite a few more shortcuts than me. Midbounce was tricky to do good.

you'd need some freekish bug bounce with no speed to squeeze in there. Stupid really. Poor testing by the creator.

Damn nightmare's 3:38 time is insane for no sl. Got 3:35:xx after about 20 min. Probably 3:19:xx possible but would need perfect run.

nice rec, hehe! i've dug up an old cocok's xiitrec, 3:29, quite an interesting merge with your ride :)
http://zworqy.com/up/files/ruschaGRSL.rec

Also, speaking of apple harvest, i'm not sure if kazan is right about DaFred's way being not possible, but in case it is, it's gonna be really hard to pull off. I'd love to see it done though, *hint hint*. When romy4 initially suggested this ah style, we tried this very volting for quite a while and no one succeeded in picking both apples and doing the longjump, up until kaz showed a rec with a sick volting which made everything easier/possible. So i decided to use the same thing in my xiitrec, after some futile attempts to invent faster stylz.
Btw, improved ah to 1:10,99 with a weird implementation of one of old romy4's ideas. Still feels max improvable :D
EDIT: 1:10,31 now, thanks to FinMan for a trick! Will get 1:09 tomorrow most likely.

[Edit]
Oh haven't seen the 2nd part of anpdads post... when some of you tried it with sl and not made it than I guess it's really not possible :)
I forgot to save before the jump and thought it could ez be done, maybe I try a little more ;)
Could you share 1.10 rec?

Decided to have a look at the new wrs topic to see if anything was going on and saw dozens of posts, I thought "oh yeah, something epic happened and I'm gonna know what it is". But no. Silly arguing over nothing. Next time, don't give people false hope and shut the fuck up.

Didn't save, but found those apples (2), both would take like 15s.
In another run accidentally saved at a death moment at 13mins, at that point I was 23s behind jon's 15:37.
What are other mans' ChainPii s/l times? What's teh best one?

Enduro - 47,34

To me it feels like its still quite tough WR even if so old (hope im just too nab to see its ez), and not popular int aswell, but someone should make a serious hoylsession and make teh for EDQ :)

The bounce was good, now when a bit new style maybe more pros want to beat it and sach.
But that rec was so perfect so it feels like Enduro will never be beaten unless a pretty much faster move somewhere.
But I am not an expert so my concern about this is actually totally pointless.

SL is fun. so i made a pipe (which i poorly ended due to lack of orka build more) with the sole purpose of making a sick sweet rec.
I think i managed okay and might do more and sicker pipes depending on time.

Not really ontopic but yea, hopefully enjoyable anyway.

the whole final part is roflsick, nice rec :)
so i made a pipe with the sole purpose of making a sick sweet rec.
it's fun to push it further (not possible in smibu's sl, but possible in hourglass and darm's sl) - i.e. record some random input and then make a lev around it, and turn it in a sweet rec by drawing polygons in the right places. It's like another step in making of autolevels.
Same idea works awesome in pipes - you can drive it through and then edit the hell out of level by adding random vertices/killers everywhere, making them as close as possible to the kuski, but so that he still magically manages to avoid everything by 1px.
