Top500 for each level. Pros and Cons
I think a Top500 for each level would be great. I think that knowing your world rank in a level and seeing your direct competition makes people want to play the level more, so top500 would be nice. On the other hand there is the drive to get into the top100 which can also make people want to play a level. In my opinion, my first point outways the second.

No. When you're a total noob you shouldn't need much inspiration to improve (as it shouldn't be difficult)
Then when you become quite ok at elma it's fairly easy to reach Top100 if you enjoy playing certain levels
Then, I'm assuming, when you become a very good player Top100 seems laughable and you care more about Top20 or Top10 or something

to long to download?? thats why u can choose between top 100 and top 300 and stuff on TT, so why cant we do that for the other to??Doddddy wrote:nope, that kind of top would take long to download... and besides i'm in top100 at most of levs...
But i thnk it should be like top 250 or something instead of 500
No regrets

Look, any more than 100 and you might as well just have a list of everybody in the elma community's time. Any more than 100 and it ceases to become a "records list". Any more than 100 and there is no longer any reason to be proud of seeing your name on a list.

I'm in top 100 only at 2 levs
Anyway, I think 100 is enough.

I think now the time is there for a topXXXX tt.
What are the cons of having such a list?
I don't see any, except for bandwidth usage. Which seems minimal in expansion since there already is a top500 and 300 and stuff.
What are the pros of it?
I see a lot of them. Isn't it lovely to see all kuskis that have played a tt. Instead of having to search all over them under nations. It would even spare bandwidth cause you can see directly where the kuski with the tt is.
A complete list is better than just the top layer I think. Having a large tt list would even motivate beginners more to send their states.
Then also a note to abula. I sent my state in this morning (5.02 CEST) to the email: records at moposite dot com. It wasn't updated though. I had subjected the email this: Records section
Was the adress wrong? or the subject?

Btw I think top xxxx tt-list is a good idea too
And what does Abula think about this? I must confess I haven't searched yet for any other topics about this. But if it was negative you maybe have made up your mind already, so a line here would be appreciated.
And raven, what do you mean?
