help in doing levels

Post by Krumpet »

I've watched some replays but sometimes it's hard to understand what to press, and why the player does what he does. is there anywhere to find an explanation on how to do things?

By the time you'll probably learn the sound each move does (including Supervolt if you know what it is). Then you'll be able to make times very similiar to the times in the replays.
so don't forget to turn the sound on before watching a replay... :)

that much i know, but, for example in level 13, after putting one wheel over the thingie he presses the spacebar twice (turns) while alovolting, iheard and saw him do that, but i dunno why. In general sound and sight don't always help if you don't know why you're doing what you're doing, because then you might be doing it wrong!

Try to do some easy tricks. Then more difficult ...
When u'll have much plaing time u'll understand what u have to do in each situation. And watch more replays.
If u can't understand what is he doing try to do the such thing
What about 13-th lev he gasses on the wall that makes him jump further. 8)

most of those double space bar things and such are made to get the optimal angles and tire locations to get maximum advantage of the surface.

Or to make the replay seems cooler and get the newbies confused ;-).

they sure look cool :) . many of them also look hard, but r surprisingly easy (e.g 9 with bounce in left down corner, 47 over killer)
