Raven, we (TAP) are arranging some kind of elimination cup, called 'The TAP Challenge' soon (in february maybe), and we have all the levs ready, so maybe it would be best that there weren't two same kind of cups simultaneously, unless you insist.

I haven't advertised about the TAP challenge yet because i don't have time to arrange it before christmas, but it will be arranged, and one part of it will be an elimination part. You'll see.

eh... I believe in Raven but don't expect too much - Finnish cup just ended after 2 events due to lack of levels and participants.

So please raven collect the levels first - and after that start to advertise.

Just advising, not blaming.

But an elimination tournament like this could ez last for under 2 months, so they wouldn't run simultaneously. With a little planning...

If i had wanted to continue the cup, i would put devan's lev and wait til next... I didn't even ask for new levels because there was only under 10 participants... etc.etc.etc.

I'm definitely in for normal levels cup..
would have participated to the pipe cup also, but i suck at pipe levels, never even close to finishing impossibility mopoco or so...
i agree that nat 2 same kind of cups at the same time.. i think that this will be a popular form of a tournament...

If is should be good you should like jonas with one lev per two players. Would be better if you can't get styles from other players. And I would recommend you to wait a bit, there's like cup mania right now, cups everwhere :X

8ball if anyone is stealing cups, sierra is too, there was jonas' matchplay tournament before that. And is everyone making normal cups stealing too caus there were world cup 1 before? (or if any cups before)

I agree in both terms... Everyone playing the same lvl would be quite stupid. But it just leaves it with alot of work for the Host

A good idea would be that all participators should make one level each.

It does make it easier, but also it's fairer. I don't think it's right that different people play different levels because you can never make two different levels that are equal in difficulty. And you might accidentally have a shortcut in one and not the other. So it would just make the whole thing mongo. Also it's nice to have that cup atmosphere at least where everybody can tell or brag their times and it's not just total confusion, can you imagine:

Why would it matter that the levels are equally hard? The two players playing each other will play same lev you know. ;(

I agree. can't see what the problem would be. It's about winning. And those shortcuts.. u'll just need some 'finding style' skills.

How big/logng shall the lvls be in 'time'.
some 20 secs? 30? or mayne 40?

Might be boring to play some 1min lvls.. or maybe 10-20 sec lvls

I think its max boring to play 10-20s levs for a week. 1-3min-levs is much more fun.
