I dont want those statistics.... I mean.. whatefuck! see how much time you spent on every level... on the whole game.. also... that "clock" could not be runn9ing just when game or specific level is open.. I might play a level for some time.. then walk away and have that level on screen for 5 hours... sometimes even with time running after pressed play again (rarely survives that long but still)

I play elma much (sometimes), I KNOW this.. why rub it in my face?

ramone, you couldn't leave it running. There should be activity in key presses. Well, should be quite easy to cheat in that anyway.

playing and hoyling is not same thing at all... so statistics would show me as one of those who plays most!
Would these stats be intregated in state.dat so that you would have top100 (or whatever) list with this just as tt... that woul djust SUCK...

also ppl get new elma now and then due to old mistakes etc... then I figure you couldnt change the total playing time yourself... :/
hmm..
hmm.. stupid me.. if intergrated with state.dat ppl save at least that heh.... well.... its fine... but how oh how could I ignore them?

If people upload their states to sites it would be easy to restore the data if lost the local state file.

Ignore - don't play.

He has said to to several people in e-mail who have asked.
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

How about differents modes of playing? Like "solid bikes", when in multiplayer u can ride on other player's bike; Some crazy tricks there! Or "bongo head", when ur head is changed to wheel(old idea, but dunno..)? .....And u can put it on/off. Of course, all stats for different modes should be different.

Who will be the first one to get Elma2 (if it ever will be done)??? I think it'll be quite annoying to hear someone that already has it... coz you can't dl it straight away. It'll take some time to find it.

Being an atheist, sin to me is what my conscience says it's wrong, and cracking a game to properly try it out before I buy some unfinished software is definitely not wrong in my point of view. And I say this because I have the strange feeling that Elma 2 is going to suck.

Well you should buy Elma 2 even if it would turn out to suck - AT LEAST if you haven't bought Elma 1.

None of those cool features will make it. Why? Because Balazs never asked the fans of the game what should be improved. Probably we'll see features that will turn us all away from the game, like bike tuning and 3D polygons.

first idea is good
and second idea is useless, because you can turn off the elma sounds and listen to music, what would be cool are alternative motorbike sounds ^^

Well if Elma 2 is ever released this has to be the weakest pre-release marketing campaing ever. Not a single screenshot, not a single announcement, not even a single teaser released. I don't know what you think about this but I don't think this is an effective way to sell shareware software; most successful shareware software is hyped to the limit but then I suppose Elma 2 already has its market secure even without being announced at all...
