This summer I will make a trip to Scandinavia. Together with my brother, we're planning to go by car through germany, denmark, sweden, norway and finland. It'll be 3 weeks at least in all. The problem is, we're on low-budget and we need places to sleep and stay at. Also, I'd like to meet up with as many kuskis over there as possible.
So in this topic I want to discuss which one of you would like and is able to make their house free for one or more nights. Furthermore, I'd like to learn some stuff worth knowing before we challenge ourselves into this dangerous trip. Consequently, we can be your host in the future.
Please, this is a rather important thing we'd like to sort out soon before we actually go there. By now it's scheduled around mid/july to mid/august.

you`re definately welcome to come to visit me and maybe stay if you want (Berlin, Germany). I cant give any promises now because i have not planned my summer-holiday yet (and usually dont plan before may/june), but if I´m here when you`re willing to come, you`ll be my guests : )

And petsen, that's cool. But isn't there a train connection from Denmark to Sweden?
We're going by car. The route will be Germany, Through Denmark to Malmö, Göteborg, then Oslo. From Oslo To Stockholm and then we take the boat to Turku. After that we'll be going to Helsinki. We're having the idea to get to St.Petersburg and then via Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland back. Does anyone of you know the price for that Stockholm - Turku ferry? Also, which routes have toll on them?
And ofcourse: at whose house can we stay for sleep?
Until now I know I'm welcome at Bartek's, zworqy's, petsen's and luther's. There was also some offer from ribot, but I don't know wether he was really serious.
