Movies with twist endings

Post by zworqy »

What's you favorite (movie with a) twist ending? What made you really go "Whoa? What th e FUCK?

Can you recommend some movie with an awesome twist that not everybody knows yet?

I think the original "Saw" movie has my favorite twist ever. The effect the first time I saw was totally mindblowing. Also, the movie Thr3e haz an amzing twist.

Sixth Sense?

I didnt get The Villlage. I assumed...well, not to ruin it, but I thought "that" was just how it was. Nothing made me think it wasnt. Hope that makes sense :P

ez nat! like actors sucks in saw ( I ), and some things could never happen in that film. Like the end:

WARNING FOR SPOILING!! don't read following if you don't wanna hear how Saw I ends:
liek sure that a guy can lay totally still without breathing heavily enough for ppl sitting 1 m away to either hear or see for 11 hrs... could never happen... and there were many more things which were nat possible, liek how ones heartrate is extremely slow when something extremely dangerous happens to you. yeah. right. that's why saw II was better.

I kinda hope youre kidding :O

actors sucks in saw ( I )

ez Michael Emerson one of my favorite actors, mainly for his work in lost, but also other things - eg. saw.
the rest may suck, but Emerson sach <3

liek sure that a guy can lay totally still without breathing heavily enough for ppl sitting 1 m away to either hear or see for 11 hrs...

couldnt be too hard, i mean, berathing through your nose for 11 hours isnt hard, and barely makes a sound. lying still for 11 hours, seriously, isnt that hard either. ok, he lies on a pretty hard surface, but still, he's just lying, ez possible if it's really worth it.

heartrate is extremely slow when something extremely dangerous happens to you. yeah. right.

hmm, dont really remember the scene (maybe i should rewatch the movie before i can answer this, because there might be something else going on, like if he was focusing on something really hard or so) but ok, yes that sounds rather odd. but hey, all movies have flaws

that's why saw II was better.

atleast i found it to be pretty boring, and even bad. the story want that good, and they didnt really make an effort to make it better. I mean when i watched, i didnt feel for any character, you got too little information about them, so when they died, you couldnt really care less about them. While watching i was like 'oh there he died. ok. oh and there she goes. oh much blood. oh well, better luck next time.

and thats another thing its so much bloodier and all, but still they fail to shock you. they try to cover the bad story by adding more extreme and bloody scenes, but, to me, it makes the movie even suckier. In saw 1 there were some 'extreme' scenes, but honestly, the movie could have been just as good without them (again, to me that is) but still, they were far from as 'extreme' and even unnecessary as the scenes in saw 2.

anyway thats just my point of view.

But when you breathe lying on your stomach your back goes up and down, especially if you're a guy of his size.

I agree that the story might not have been brilliant in Saw II, but I liked the smart ending. Anyways. I respect your opinion.

i tried it just now, and if you take like pretty short breaths, its almost impossible to see them, especially if you are lying on your stomach. you'd have to move really close to him to see those small movements, and they cant, since they are stuck in the corners.

quote="niN"]I agree that the story might not have been brilliant in Saw II, but I liked the smart ending.[/quote]
well, I think the ending in saw 1 was even better ;D
niN wrote:Anyways. I respect your opinion.
yeah, of course, like i pointed out in my previous post this is just my point of view, and i can totally see if you think otherwise. I for one don't really enjoy the 'unnecessarily' bloody scenes, but if you like bloody scenes, then i can clearly see why you'd like saw II. I'm not saying I'm right, I'm saying we're both right :D

about the breathing, try breathing short breaths for 11 hrs, you'd pass out after 5 mins :P. you need normal breaths. especially if you have cancer. Anyways, I think so anyway.

didnt mean like max short, i meant like relatively short ah well, seriously, maybe he's some pr0 breather or sach, doesnt really matter - it's just a movie 8D

ah well, lets just say i like saw 1 more than saw 2, and you like saw 2 more than saw 1 - why? well obviously theyre 2 different movies, and we like different things (when it somes to movies atleast - dame can't believe you like zappa too <3<3)

ah well, let's just appreciate the fact that everyone has a different taste. smaken är som baken ;D

There goes another perfectly fine thread. It's sad really.

And I'm sorry if this post will lead to some silly "discussion" about me and/or this thread.

Perhaps SveinR could do his "job" and remove these last posts?

Man, it was just a joke, instead of trying to look like a judge who deserves respect and admiration for his superiorness, please laugh or, if you don't find it funny (which is quite obvious in this case), then let it go. I could have said "Saw" but I read the whole thread and I couldn't think of a movie that wasn't said. I thought that Snow White and the Seven Dwarves was actually quite funny, however 8)

And please, people, end that off-topicness here. Igge doesn't deserve more attention than that.
