Nat "normal" phones here, I don't even remember when I saw one last time ;O
So ofc I own on. In Finland kids get their first cellphones between 7-8y old I think.

There are normal phones almost nowhere.

So, I guess that in Canada, the amount of people (between, say, 15-50 years) that has a cell phone is not close to 99.9%?

well, maybe the amount of people having cellphones here might be around 85-90%... a bit less than in Scandinavia where, i have heard, pretty much every human being has one.
and yeah, it really isn't hard to find a public phone here in QuÃ©bec, Canada.

i like text messages and do not like talkin on the phone. do only when have no choice and as short as possible, would rather meet the person and see him\her... talkin on the phone for long is more like female stuff i guess. what's the point if the person you talk to can like pick teh nose or whatever and generally doesn't give a fuck? thoroughly don't get how my twin sister could talk on the phone like an hour or two a day

and ye0, everyone i know owns a mobile, except my grandmother... my 50+yo mother bought one like a week ago though and my 60+yo father just about 2 years ago

I have old cellphone, almost 2 years but dont need anything that this one doesnt have (SE K310i)
