i'm starting this since xarthok thinks nobody gives a fuck, lets see if its true

Do you use Pictures in background?
Personally, no and it makes me disappointed when people put in background. I do take the time to place specific distance in harmony with the bike and always trying to avoid placing in places where it is necessary to see.

Pics are nice, but in Foreground sometimes disturb

but I would use them in background when hoyling.. anyways.. let 8ball choose for himself. Maybe he can just switch between the two if neccessary.

That's exactly what i think.. putting pics in background is like disabling an elma feature, original feature included in elma.
Low Quality is even worse, unless your computer can't run HQ properly.

EDIT: i put pics in background sometimes when needed, when hoyling WU etc

low quality is not about getting higher FPS or something, it's just annoying for hoyling. kinghias even uses some black/white.lgr ;D

Lukazz i remember playing in an 80486 DX2 years ago.. and if i recall corectly HQ used more resources.. game ran slower.

well, even on my old 166mHz computer it was enough to not see any difference with high/low

it didnt even have usb port and it had turbo button

Processor: under 100 MHz
RAM: 16 MB
HD: 500 MB
Graphics card: wut? 2 or 4 MB

I loved that computer

I still has it somewhere...

I use pictures in background, but also when I make a level with pictures I manually put them to >500 as well, just so they won't bother others.

it inspires me to be either very quick and focused on finishing OR on to die or to hit ESC like a motherbitch. usualy i die, or escape, because i cant stand this ugly open ripped ass.

I generally don't put pictures in the background.

Only time i change that is when i do serious internal hoyling and then i turn details to low (whenever pictures are in the way).

HighQ.lgr + low details + default ground/sky for höyling.

however always review my decent recs in elma instance with Default.lgr in order to taste designer's idea.
