Fucking awesome ribot!!!!! Really, meganice! :) Would be even sicker if you added a map feature to it, so that a map of the generated lev would display after creating it so you can see whether it's ok and otherwise generate another :)
If you bothered, adding functions like density would be nice if you know what i mean o,o

anyway even if you don't bother to make those features, great job! :)

I think lev generators are a good idea and a bad idea. Saving time is a pro, having complete randomness is also a bonus. But complete randomness could also lead to very poor quality annoying levels. Time+creativity= how good the level is , level generators minimize both of these therefore creating lame generic levels. This doesn't mean there isn't a place for generated levels. There's times when they could come in handy in certain situations.

My particular status with any form of auto generating level is that anyone who uses these should be instantly disqualified from GAA "level designer" nomination. As soon as you use a generator you do not become the level designer anymore , the computer does. So if people who use these often get a GAA you might as well give computer programs a GAA.

In conclusion I still stand by stating that the best level generator is the human mind.

But nice programming none the least!

hmm well it's not there to replace level makers... i definately agree that humans are better designers than the generator.. but it's a useful tool that has its use...

and pq, the map is showing now

Ez use generated level as a basis and develop it into your own, that way it can be very much useful.

Hey ribbie, is your generator still up somewhere?
<Pawq> at a gym you have only 3 options: 1. have your eyes closed, 2. stare at yourself, 3. stare at others, all of which are either super boring or disgusting
