Ok, I heard it was supposed to be good but it was insane!

12 Angry Men - 10/10
Characters felt very natural - really impressive writing and acting! Just a joy to sit through. If it wasn't for the fact I'm spending more than I'm earning already I'd buy it on DVD right away since it's, most likely, really cheap... I'm cheap ;(

seen before but rewatched now... i no nothing about the reality of war presented in this film for obvious reasons. But it is the most convincing war film I have ever seen and that I think exist. If regular war dramas are like hard rock music, this one is like motherfucking doom metal...

World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles - 5/10
Quite nice mood until all the famous faces (I was ok with Eckhart) appeared. Rodriguez as the tough chick just pissed me off.

Water for Elephants - 6/10
Generous 6. Nothing mindblowing but a decent way to spend 2 hours.

Red Riding Hood - 3/10
I'm the wrong sex and age...

Semifunny on earth, max boring in Asgard. Best thing about the movie was the 3D space scenes in the beginning of the credits.

Scream 4 - 5/10
Well, it was a typical Scream.

Scream 2 - 4/10
Well, it was a typical Scream.

Igge, many would argue that Die Hard 2 is not as good as the prequel sure, but at least he enjoyed both of them :P

I'm not a fan of Die Hard myself. Though I've only seen the first and the third.

Moving on:
Paths of Glory (1957) - 7/10 Really good film in many ways but the dialogues are (at times) not convincing which makes the film less believable. Ending scene is fantastic though.

That's exactly what I'm saying. He gave Die Hard 2 the same score as he gave 1, when 1 is obviously 10 times better. 3, however, is equal to 1.

It's a Wonderful Life (1946) - 9/10. IMDb fooled me a bit with their description of the plot since that doesn't happen until the last 25-30 minutes of the film. Anyway, great film, some less good parts toward the end but the last scene was fantastic!

Totally OK movie, but it didn't have the drama mix like other alien movies can have District 9 for example.

Pixelschatten 9/10 (1 star buddy bonus)

Pixel (Ben Gageik) is a 22-year-old small-town blogger: Everyone can read about him and his friends online. His blog "Pixelschatten" used to be the hippest thing in town, but now the local fame has faded away. His friends go to college, have new friends and interests, and his girlfriend Suse (Zora Klostermann) is irritated by the private issues revealed on the blog. When Pixel realizes that everyone but him is moving on, he changes all their lives with just one post...

This is a film a friend of mine made for German TV. The film is shot entirely in first person camera using a crazy ass head rig and a slr camera.

More info: http://www.pixelschatten.com/

The film will be shown on youtube for a week starting May 23. I highly recommend it if you are interested in blogging, online life or you just like kick ass movies. Don't expect explosions though! There will be English subtitles available.
