i tried to figure this out but how do i lock a level so no one can edit it?

select "Save as" in editor, there's a button called "Save Locked"

i think locking your levels is a waste of time....
if i needed to i could unlock as many levels as i need at once
just gotta keep my alt+f4 fingers ready :)

What no? Do u say locking level is needed? Anybody can unlock it if he(or she) wants it. And i don't wanna give handicap to the ppl who don't use levunlock. Btw i don't use it either, nor do i edit levs at any time ok.

The only reason you should lock levels nowadays, is that you could open it by accident and the best times were deleted

they don't vanish unless ur dumb enough to open it even though you're warned, and then save it also.

If I could make programs, I would make an external editor, ec. with new and better locking system, so NONE can unlock it...to bad I can't

Why in the world do you want that? There's no need to unlock the level to find the best route anymore (just use low zoom in 1.2). The only other thing that you might want to hide is how you've made grass and textures. Big deal.
If someone wants to take a good look at your level, you should take that as a compliment.
