The other way around actually. Elma is trying to connect to something.

duh, can't you see what I'm looking for?
original elma.exe does absolutely not try to connect to internet, so why would Hibernatus' version have to?

Maybe it has something to do with the net multiplayer thingie...?
Or did Hib actually were serious when he said it tries to send users recs to his ftp :P

ps. And I didn't intend to post this topic as being a "problem", cos it's not my personal problem, it's more like general hazard ("omg, does it send my recs to other ppl?!?!")

If it's a problem (or a question) and it's elma-related it goes in Problems.

Actually I think it says "External", and I think I can see an underscore before that ("_External"). Hmm.
I'm 99% sure it's E:\Mika\Ela..., and thus most likely Elasto Mania or Elastomania. Judging by the length there is at least one word between Elastomania and External. WHAT COULD IT BE??! To be continued.

Since it says its using the internet group management protocol, it is most likely your router/switch/hub that is causing it...

it can also be a problem with windows or some part of it. now and then i get message that f.ex. calculator.exe wants to connect to blabla. i really doubt hib has put in any code to make it attempt to connect to something. i've been using 1.2 for months now and also running a firewall, it has never tried to connect to anything for me.

I'm 99% sure as well it's just my windows which causes it, but since I never got that kind of behaviour before, I thought it'd be interesting if anyone else has encountered such thing.
