Kuski of July 2002

Post by Abula »

Pohm, poll of July is here. Make questions for the possible winners (also for mrickx, Abula, Cloud and TorInge in their threads). The interviews will come after I get ready the Downloads section.

The poll ends on 15th of September 2002.

DarMoeD - He is from far in Russia. Having six WRs currently and dominating the world total times list. He found his way to irc and played some battles with very good success, won most of them I think. Seems like he will rule the whole Elma scene in the future.

GuyB - Must be one of the nicest guy(B)s in the scene. Always happy etc. Having popular and good Danish Elma site that is very often updated (much news everytime, awesome). My favourite :-).

Hibernatus - Made patch 1.11h, Moposite new Records section system and other smaller stuff. The man who could cheat all WRs to himself but luckily won't do it :]. He is half retired so doesn't be able to hoyl so much but still participating to some competitions. Made Lab Pro bounce yesterday at the first try in his life :P.

milagros - Has impressive styles and hoyling power, the best example his Freefall WR. His average time is same as his WR I think :P. But he's saying he will make 10 seconds to Freefall when being able to play Elma. He's having two months break now because travelling (or something). Spreading the joy of Elma in his country, Slovak.

IRK - The guy who gets the honour of Apple Harvest one route style. He's dominating Headbanger WR (maybe one of the most legendary levels?). He just formed a new team with TorInge and Cloud: IC. Let's see how this pretty new czech fellow kuski can do in World Cup with his team mates. Rumours are saying he is very good style invertor, isn't that something we appreciate highly?

The voting thing was taken down from moposite in March or something. Then no more votings until Abula started it again here in mopolauta in the summer some time, and he started from where he left it. So it's gonna take some time until we catch up with the months. (I think each poll is here for 2 weeks or so)

I agree that we vote on the wrong premisses. We should vote based on what that kuski has done in that particular month.

Yeap. It's got totally out of control. Votes should ALWAYS be during the month of the voting's month. Now there should be ONLY Septembers kom vote. Sad.

ye this is just weird. it's not the kuski's of those old months that are voted, so there is no need to vote for those months. also if someone is hot he can be in the next month even if he didn't get second, with current system ppl like me become KOM now and then. but abula is very stubborn for some reason.

BarTek wrote:i belive we gotz like 100 more ppl in this mopolauta than last...thats alot of pfantom users - n00bs we never heard of probably! how can abu know they are real. Abu: check the wcup n see wich noobs from mopolautat hat participate, then u know for sure they are real! ur system is screwed abula :o

although there is like 200 registerd users. Only 30 votes or something like that...hehe...i havnt even voted so...tells a bit about our lazyness!
I don't believe that there were people creating many phantom users (and different emails too) just to get more votes. Maybe a few but much better than the previous system. In old Mopolauta we had 250 users before moved to this one. There you were able to register by yourself. So now it's much harder to make phantom users anyway. I don't know how to arrange this in better way.

Ye, lazyness. I've voted every poll, by the way.
