Sound editor?

Post by Labratkid »

I've never been a part of the Elasto Mania community at all, although I've been playing the game for several months now (well over six months, probably). I know there's an LGR editting program, but is there a sound editing program? I find the sounds in the game rather annoying and repetitive when I play (especially when I play endlessly... not to the point of "hoyling," as you people seem to call it, but when I play a lot). When I'm especially bored of the sounds, I usually put on EAX and modify the pitch and stuff, but it's still not the same. And being able to change around the sounds would be neat as well.

Oh, and hello.

THERE IS.

if you get elma 1.2 files, you also get resedit, (maybe only in beta) , in which you can change screen, internal levels and sounds. In fact it's just an importing program. You do have to rename you sounds to the correct one.

You can find this patch at:

http://www.elastomania.dk
http://www.arcao.tk
http://www.elmasite.com

One exact link:

http://koti.mbnet.fi/arcao/files/elma12h.zip

Good luck.

Neat. Thanks :)

BTW, is it legal to use this program in any sort of Elma contest? In other words, if I wanted to participate in a contest using a higher resolution, would it be okay?

you could always go out on a limb and turn the elma sounds of, or have it set to compatable so you can play music IE winamp and play elma with elma noises at the same time
