interactive record lists.
www.vk0.dk/elmadk
This will proberly be the new danish national elmasite, but there will still be alot of international hostet record lists as well.
There is an ability for admins to post news, and everyone can comment on them.
There are also record lists.
Record lists can be international or specific for a single country. They can be manual updated or totally interactive.
When you beat a record on a recordlist, you log in, locate your .lev or state.dat file, and your replay (but only if the list is set to manual updating). and upload them. If the list is manual, an admin will have to accept your record, but if it's interactive, the script reads the time from the .lev or state.dat file and updates the list right away.
Note that only admins can make recordlists with internals.
There aren't many lists on it now, but everyone can just add a new one. the creater of a list is automatically it's admin.
finally a way to host a recordlist for that lamo levpack you did once without having to sort through emails, copy-paste lev-files and replays around, and updating a website manually.
I'm actually quite proud of this script, so don't fuck with it too much!

here's an error :
when i tried to send a new record for vk's pack, i got this error :
levfile is wrong!
levfile size doesn't match
probably coz this lev had only 5 times in top ten, and i made a full top ten (so the size is different).

hmm
8bald. It should work with numbers and -, does it just print "problem with nick", or someting else?
edit: sorry for the problem, i fixed it.
Wke, juski:
did you type in the correct number for the level
ie.
"level number" 5 is vksupa05.lev.
the size should be the same regardless of the amount of records.
edit: sorry for the problem i've fixed it now. I just knew i shouldn't have changed that variable, better a work-able variable than a read-able one.

no...
and why would one want to use them?
the team is automatically put inside such bizarre characters. and they look ugly in a nick.
You can use them for some BBcode in some of the places where there are text (not really sure which ones)

I see you haven't even registered, is that because of just that?

juski, where's the url for your levels?
VK : what are you saying about TT counter?
shouldn't be TOO hard (i guess), and could be very cool.

I've fixed the "BIG FAT ERROR"
Sorry for having you add the entire pack again.
Sorry for having you add the entire pack again.
another little bug : when you browse your zipped pack first time, you don't have the url on the record-table page.
you have to edit the details and browse it again, and only then the url appears.

sorry about that.
minor mistake.
minor mistake.
another suggestion : when you report a new record, you'll have an ability to add a url to your rec, so ppl would be able to d/l record recs.
of course, its only a possibilty, and its only urls so it won't be on the site's server.

vk, another problem : all the numbers of the zipped packs has moved by 1, so the urls from number X are wrang (i.e, table 21's url is for pack21.zip, which is actually table 20's pack and so on.)

ins had some problems with this as well, but thanks for the detailed bug-report. I've fixed it now... I think
a really nice idea, i'm just in the middle of doing something similar on the hungarian elma page (though it is only about interactively updating your times by submitting your replays, so you can't add new packs)
was nearly finished with it when my HDD got crashed (well, well, backups DO have a purpose :)
