Noob wr table
Moderator: Moporators
Hmm...I think that I've sent you my state.dat (with over 45 tt) long time ago and there are only 3 of my times. There should be many more...Dyrox wrote:The +45 WR Table is updated.

Ye but how often does 2 players have all their times on 1 state? It will be way to easy to cheat this one.
No regrets

Well you would need both player's own states as well as the state they set the multi wr on.. Dunno if people will see it as too much work.sierra wrote:Myself and Jaytea plan to make a +45 Multiplayer WR table. Works just like Multi WR table, except both players must have +45TT.
Good idea? Or another stupid n00b invention?
Well we don't care, because we're making it anyway.
Anyway, don't listen to me, I'm pretty negative to all this +XX wr lists thing anyway.
yea SveinR but most people would get the record on one of the individuals' states wouldn't they? i know i wouldn't bother setting up a new state.dat just for multiplay.
and yes i guess there is some 'red tape' issues but, people will go through quite a lot of effort to get their names on tables

omg realised when I watched this thread that I had a "wr" (or whatever it is) on DT (1.29.28) which is so omg old, but since u made a "new" 45+ table... doesn't my time count or what?
just curious, i have no idea how this works

I think it would be much better if you made some table based on their combined tt instead of single tt. A persons skill in multiplaying doesn't necessarily have to be the same as his skill in normal single play, though there is some connection of course.
With this system you could keep playing multiplayer until you get really good and still get into the table because your single tt won't go down if you just play multi. I'm not sure if that'll be a big problem though.
The point is I think using the combined tt would be best because it reflects your multiplaying skills better. Of course there might be some problems if you're using combined tt too...
I'm sorry if I sound very negative. New ideas are always great, keep 'em coming

I have the original +45 WR table on my old computer and when i checked it it was many times on that one that are better then the current +45 WR table, how the did that happen??...did you just make a new WR table without checking the old one??...the one who have the current +45 WR table can contact me if he wants the old table so he can put in those records as well, cause the people who has them deserves them ...

Jonas can we see the old table?
And Tantal, wouldn't combined TT make it easy for pro hoylas to just own the table? Toringe, for example, could pair up with, i dunno, his cousin who has a +60 tt and take a lot of records. My thinking is that if both players are +45 then hopefully they're still quite noob.

i think the both players multi TT. but its rarely someone plays all levs in multi player, at least i dont.

Well, and I guess I would know, quite few kuskis have very hoyled times on all multi levs. Many have just hoyled a few of them in multi and haven't played the others at all (not on the state anyway). So that would make for a very bad combined TT.Tantal wrote:I think it would be much better if you made some table based on their combined tt instead of single tt.
TorInge's combined total wouldn't get any worse if he played with someone else who has worse tt. Your combined total goes down if you make a better time in multiplayer nomatter who you play with. And Tantal, wouldn't combined TT make it easy for pro hoylas to just own the table? Still I realize that using combined tt wouldn't work that well afterall, because there are so many players that have played only a few levels in multi player.
They wouldn't be able to completely rule the table though, because when they get too many records, their combined tt would be too good.
Maybe having limits for both normal tt and combined tt would work...
