How to reget Elma

Post by i3 »

I have the registered version of elma, burnt it over to a cd, changed pc, installed elma, and right after that, the cd broke... If I need to install it again, can I just d/l it from a warez-site or do I have to put the old hd in my new pc? :?

patch wont work... you need the res-file... well... I know about one, I'm in allmost daily; suprnova.org have one (yes; without 'e') and I haven't checked at demonoid.com....

I promise; my elma is real! 8)

it's just that I can't get arsed to put a 80gb harddisk full of crap into my new computer just to destroy it... (there are something wrong with the partitions)

If I find the registration e-mail or the paper with the registration-number ( I think it is in my wardrobe... :teeth: ) I can just send that to him? and I'll recieve the full version again?

I don't understand the problem...? If u have it on one comp, then just burn to CD from there...

You can just copy it to a CD as it is, there's no installation needed for Elma.
<Fihlvein> another case of zworqy-is-always-right closed i guess

well.... I tried to insert the old hd, but there is some sort of a non-moveable metalplate lying on top of the other hd making no room for the old one :?

somebody know how to remove that plate? or better; make room for the old hd...

(for those who are confused: it's the old hd I want to insert...)

If the thing stopping you putting the old HD on top is on top of the old one then put the new one on top and put the old one under it!

LOL  Just put the cables in the hd and lay it in the buttom of the computer, it doesn't have to be place the right place just for copying a few files.

well, I have thought of that, it's smart, but not smart(if you see what I mean...):
it's very 'not-so-very-tidy-down-there', and I'm afraid that next time I move the pc something awfull will happen to my presssssssssioussssss hd....

I know, elma is an important file that lyes on that foreign hd...

but I'm not even sure if it works... (the hd I mean)

well... I'l atleast connect it someday and check it for more important stuff, like elma installation, songs and musicfiles... (and warez, not)
