How do I make a .rec into a .avi or any other similiar formats?

I really need help, i'm going to do a elma movie

As long as I have heard it's not possible... But you can use some programs to capture the .rec file on the screen... It will then be saved into .mpg or something... Surely you can make it to .avi...

I'm pretty sure it's impossible. Elma is 8bit, and screen capture programs doesn't support that. I have tried, I have tried many programs.

Wait for elma 2.

you can also just playe elma to a tv through tv-out, record on vhs-take, then tv-in and capture it.

I guess that would work.

And ez change video format if your first get it in some format. If you like need to get it from mpeg to avi, just search download.com for "mpeg to avi".

yes it is possible, i have some .rec file turned into .avi on my hdd at home, i was hoping to make into a movitte but it was proving harder than i thought and i was going to wait to get some help on it from someone that actually knows what teh fack they are doing, i can send you the allready converted files in a few weeks wen i can contact home, talk to milagros, he told me about this program that even i found easy to use ;p

just go in to elma and start a repaly and then just record it with fraps, which makes it to avi!

Pleeeeeeeease tell me how you do, properties in fraps? I been trying for hours to make it work long time ago, but never succed. I just need to know how you capture from elma, when it's first .avi/.bmp whatever I know what to do.

With the latest version of Fraps you simply start fraps, minimize it, start Elma, start a replay and then press the video capture hotkey you set in fraps (I think default is F6 or F9 or something)

I don't think it works at all with old versions of fraps.

Tried to make a vid with fraps... It works but why it is sooooo lakky??? fu*kin quality!! it's like 1 sec driving in rec is 2 seconds in the film... why???

.... i got max 30 fps when I record now (after reinstalling xp + new drivers)!! But the file gets in 14 seconds 88mb.... so it isn't lakky anymore but a whole vid would be 1 GB mpg!

me got a nice film now.... (with fraps and ulead Viedostudio)
ez 212mb... with dr.divx i could make it a 35mb film!! but it won't take my sounds in the avi file.... and fuckin bad quality!!! now a vid without music and with a this bad quality sucks... and I won't upload more than 200mb..
would virtualdub bring help and sound to me???
thanx a lot...

btw: I hope some mopoguys (best internal playaz) aren't pissed off when they see themselves in my vid.

edit: your virtualdub created an over 6 gb file

but it helped to create a 40 mb file later.... with sound! Thx
