Elma shutting down

Very anoying thing that has begin when I play elma.

It shuts down by itself.. no matter if I'm in menu or in game (doin' a good time)
Sometimes I can play for days without being shut-down then suddenly
.exe can act like a mongo thrice in an hour

I've got 1.11hb, anyone else have same problem? What to do?

I've had that problem often in the past, but nowadays it never happens. Maybe it's cos i switched to 1.2, I don't know for sure but it's worth a try...

that has happend to have been using 1.11hb and 1.2 and your lucky it just happends three times in one hour, for its like every 5 mins

I guess it happens to everyone occasionally, but luckily for me, it only happens like twice in a year

Don't really know what you can do to prevent it.

I get a simalar problem when elma just doesnt open...well, it opens but minimises and wont enlarge unless I click right, right, left, right, left on the taskbar icon

Well, guess I have to dl some cheat that says press >, >,^,<,>.^, and then secret password like "gimme the cheats".

Ez new window pop-up where configuration can be done.

I have this problem too, very annoying when having a grreat run

, anyway, it might just be the humongous amount of levels i have in my level file !

Can it be that I've got too many levs. Actually I don't know if it happens on internals since I never/ very rarely play 'em. For me it's always while playing externals.
I'll try to get rid of some 5-600 levs when I get home. Might be the problem!

I had the same problem, but u just have to reinstall ur elma and of course copy ur state.dat if u dont want to loose anything

Nah, I thought that would do it, but it doesnt. I guess I'll have to just live with it

I have about 740 lvls and I'm using 1.11hb, and I have NEVER seen anything like that!

I formatted my hard drive recently and I had the same for the first couple times I opened elma, but now its fine...strange

When i say humongous amount of levels, i'm talking more about 1500 and more...

This makes me such angry. I haven't had any problems for quite a long time but now they have started again. Is it due to too many levs in lev folder? I guess I have some +2k. My computer is quite lazy, it really can't handle more advanced progs than elma but still :X

And what's just as annoying is that each time elma shuts itself down I have to reboot cuz else I can't start elma but still other progs work.

edit: It happens both with elma 1.2 and 1.11hb and rebooting is like "I clean teh house and make teh dinner meanwhile"..

For me it happens like 1-2 times in a month. The game just stop, and change colours (while playing a lev). After 3 seconds, Elma shutting down. But it's just to start the game again. But still, very annoying.

Well, it's working, but many levels doesn't show on th list..
