Do you prefer to have Vsynco on or off, generally speaking. Like I f you could only choose one for the rest of your life or you're playing a level where it doesn't matter what you use?
<Fihlvein> another case of zworqy-is-always-right closed i guess
<yoosef> zworqy doesnt suck at anything
I'd like to keep it off...but whenever i turn it back on (my other comp for example) elma goes insane and its impossible to play...wont even load up the game...its sad cuz my other comp was so much better for elma than this one lol
now the internet dont even work on it...piece a junk
i just hate ppl who makwsa lev where you have to switch to csync on to complete them :/
Has somebody done that?
My knowledge of vertical synchronization effect on playing is far from being able to design levels according to that in such a radical way you described...

levels where you have to go through a hole with the wheels, or a rollercoastertype lev can sometimes be so narrow at some parts that it's only posible to go through with on. petsen (or actually his gf ) made a lev like this in a battle i remember...
SveinR wrote:Hmm, but as vsync on is usually the default, it means it is only made such as you have to switch to vsync off to not be able to complete it..
It might be the default on most gfx cards, but I think for most players that have tried both on and off, off becomes the one they use as default.
"its OFF all the time. If i go back to ON it feels like the bike is made out of jell-o and soft, like lagging when i rotate."
precisely that with me too ^^
and it makes quite a difference to have on or off in my computer
i switch to on randomly on some battle levs when the others have max better time than me if it's a small hoyla or some lev with a tricky part, or if it involves a controlled landing from some high place (don't ask me if it works, once i changed and it did so if i bother i change these days, maybe some pro can say of true of false) or if i am bored of the lev and just remember to mess up with vsync to test teh

well.. you got it (in one way) wrong... slides is easier with off... yet... in some places you cant make mega turn hangs: like in Dowhnhill, with ON, which I guess Dunedan means... some places you just dont get the grip with on... but for brake with pressure down and slide... like in uphill or enigma multi.... you need off...
so I guess dunedan maybe didnt get it wrong... just BarTek misunderstood him.. but then: BarTek isnt know for his good understanding.
