ye great... but still there are some bugs left...
i did a cut/split with two polygons.. and when I played and saved it was like it was a BIG polygon (much bigger than those together) i could see it all on the radar.. but it was like a texture.. I was able to drive thru it..
also the "play".. is something supposed to happen?
still coal and good!! :)

Small bugs:
  • Ellipses are not always round... opposite lines are sometimes mirrored, if you see what I mean.
  • Problems with textures... "Access violation error"...

make it like the normal editor...its kinda hard to learn all the new shortcuts... it would be easier if it's like the old editor with new functions.

Bug!?! When you have created a polygon you can't finish it by pressing the right mouse button.

very nice!
lots of features that people wanted for new version editor....
i agree with MaZ, make same shortcuts like in in-game editor and finish polygon with right klick would be better...
also you should be able to save&play....
until then i think ill stick to the "old" one...

Very nice prog but found some bug
I made lev and tried it, then used alt+Tab to change lev and I saved the modified lev then I went back to elma and played the lev but it hadnt changed but anyway I drove best time on it. I quit elma and started it again and the time was still there even the lev was changed then.

This editor is alnernative to standard, i don't make somebody to use it.
In next version i'll make shortcuts like in elma editor.
About found bugs - please, mail me, i can't read forum very often.

there's a huge problem when u set it to display pics&textures&grass.
1) grass isn't being displayed, but that's not a real problem.
2) there is no clipping display.
3) there is no displaying with distance.

anyway, it's great but it's still not a complete alternative to the default editor, but maybe in the future it will be better, good work!

Or simply keep deleting vertices. When only 3 vertices remain, next deletion will automatically dellet the enire polygon. But maybe the other way is easier.

In next version will be :
- fixing known bugs
- better performance
- B-splines (you draw a curve and the program automatically creates polygon)
- transform (such as scaling and rotating group of objects)

Your suggestions ?

would also be nice with right click on vertex and choose texture and the possibility to lay the texture just as you lay grass

omgz this is my 3rd post but I just had to say something about that prog 'cause I'm coal level maker. That's nice prog, but there's some bugs what could be fixed. And sometimes it takes long time prog to load a level. But it has some great tools so.. Nice work! btw I don't it's hard to get used to that.. it's kinda simple

I dont use this very often but if I want to move some very nice part of some level I can take the whole part exactly as it is and move. Still pretty annoying to do cuz comp is lagging while dragging it

Sometimes after saving a level in ALE i can with going out of the external level menu in elma going back to the external level menu then choosing the level access the changes. BUT sometimes I have to totally quit elma and start it up again before I can see the changes, and that sucks. Is there any way of getting around this?
