I was at James' house the other day and he said something about the scene being a bit boring at the moment compared to when we started playing. Guys like XTC, EML and a load of others have gone, and although there have been a few good people joining, the old guys' absences have left something missing from the lauta and IRC.
Anyone think this is true?

I think that big projects or contests will make the scene very interesting (i.e OLP, chain level).

I think many new guys are making the scene interesting... Guys like : Axxu, Team KC!1, Boomer88, Flat Traquer ( don't really know if he's new but... ) and maybe me !

Anyway, it's sure that i've never know the oldschool community you're taking about... i think the current scene is great

i don't like playing elma with pressure to do best times and improving like mad.... i like playing for fun, without any special time goals.
i'm sayin that i'm "worst kuski ever" so people won't expect too much from me, coz i really don't want it.
don't get me wrong - i'm still improving (last month - 5 minutes), but not for being the best kuski ever, just coz this is the game and i play it.

so sorry if i won't be 1st rank player in the near future.

P.S.
for all those "hoyling", "mongo", "slesk" etc. inventors - please make a short word for "improving", its really pain in ass typing 9 letters for such popular word.

Everyone come up with ideas on another word for improving!

My suggestions: BÃ¤dering, emendate (i took it out from the latin word for improve) emendÃ¶, emdÃ¶, frÃ¼x,

lol..silly words from a silly mouth. Oops, i took "mouth" from morrowind..

and then we have these n00bs who publish cheatprogs(autoplay) by saying it brings more life to the scene

I dont know if the scene is now less boring, it has always been this boring or interesting, the scene is not about die if few wr-crushers quits playing
